[Alphinaud appears on the network for the first time in months, illuminated by the soft greenery of the garden. He looks less frazzled this time, as he's been able to settle in. And that means it's time to do what he does best: get in everyone's business and absorb information like a sponge.]

Good morning to you all. I come to ask a small favor of those who have resided here for longer than I have-- at least longer than four moons.

It seems to me that we have encountered several sapient races on the worlds we've visited, both familiar and [a pause] not so familiar. I would like to compile all the information that we have on them. If someone else has already gone through this labor, I would like very much to study the result. My ideal would be a brief history on previous encounters with these people, their origin if known, and a visual aid. I can provide the latter if given enough information.

It is highly possible that we will encounter them in the future, and continue to encounter them. The benefits are obvious: it is pertinent to know how to approach them for future interactions, and to handle any situations that may arise. Also, if we helped someone before, we may help them again... or even need help ourselves, if the 'Interceptors' are any indication.

If you are not amenable to sharing what you know over the devices, I'll be in the open gardens on the Iskaulit for the time being.

[The Goldstone is often too noisy, so he's spending a lot of time writing and compiling information in... the gardens. Not the best place for it, but Alphinaud is quite happy where he is, with a blanket underneath him and a big journal in his lap. Any information here would be helpful. It may be easier to go chronologically: what was the first planet you visited in the Fleet, and who lived there?

Works for me. I showed up while we were orbitin' a planet they called "The Hand-Holding Planet". [ Airquotes~ ] Unfortunately, I don't at all remember it's actual name, 'cause like... no one ever used it much. Not even the locals. Heh. But yeah, the population was pretty much just the people with the orange-y copper skin tones. The ones we see in a lot of places we go.

(While Alisaie herself has nothing to contribute to the conversation, it's in her nature to watch over her brother―especially whenever he invites people to speak with him in-person. It isn't that she thinks he'll slip up and say the wrong thing (she has enough self awareness to recognize that she is the twin that does that), rather she just lacks trust in anyone here. Who knows what kind of brute might try to rob her brother because he was foolish enough to meet them in-person?

She lingers close by in the gardens, watching him from what she feels is respectable enough of a distance. Curious about what he's writing about, she tries to sneak in a little closer and CRACK. That was a branch she just happened to step on and boy, was that way louder than it should be.)

I had meant to do that to draw your attention this way. (She did not mean to do that one bit, but that's the story she's sticking with now.) You were too absorbed in your writing to notice that I had come to pay you a visit.

[Alphinaud doesn't have twin senses or anything like that, but he can feel someone's eyes on him. He is safer here in the Fleet than he's been lately, so he continues with his writing, trusting that whoever it is will reveal themselves eventually. And he is proven right when there's a snap. He lifts his head automatically only to discover it's his sister, and a smile blossoms across his face.

Alisaie doesn't do sneaky well, but he politely does not point this out.]

(Her pride silently thanks him for that.) Anything is a welcomed sight after spending bells cramped inside a small corridor.

(In nosy Alisaie fashion, she tries to lean in to get a better look at his writing now that she's even closer.)

Did you have company while I was out? (Meaning did he happen to see anyone before she arrived or did she show up in just the right time to play bodyguard.)

I don't think anyone else has. If they did, they're probably not here anymore. [Asuka's face furrows in its typical consternation. It's not a bad idea, really.]

But I'll tell you what I know. And every ship has at least a handful of pets from the different planets, so that's something easy to look into.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated! While I'm more concerned with the races we keep running into, having a reference of sorts when it comes to adopted flora and fauna could only be beneficial. Inevitably someone will leave a pet behind and it will have special needs that others may not know about.
