I have no doubt you will find new ones on this system. It will just be a matter of choosing them.

Well, extra money is needed, so I have to take some jobs down on the planets. What about you? Are you looking to wrestle more bears?
[Yes, yes he heard all about that from Riona.]
no subject
No, not this time. Though if a bear challenges me like that again it will get the same treatment. I've been doing transport runs between the planets.

Just make sure that the next time the fauna of a planet challenges you to a duel you either record it or I'm nearby. I would like to see these feats of strength that had my wife so enraptured.

[He shrugs; it was one of the weirder animal fights he's had, but definitely not in the top ten.]
The bear was unhappy about it all.

No sane man goes around with no weapon, even if he can't suplex his enemy like a rag doll.

[He heaves a sigh. He misses that hammer.]
But it was destroyed not long ago.

I'm sorry to hear that it's gone though. A good weapon is worth a lot.

[It had been a point of pride that he was able to wield it. Now, after Hela, he wasn't so sure.]
Thank you. [A shrug] In the end, there are greater things to worry about than the loss of my hammer.

[WTF DUDE? What the fuck.]
And just because you have to keep going to save the world doesn't mean you can't mourn the loss of a perfectly good weapon. I mean, I had to go back to a big battlefield and kill a bunch of Darkspawn to get the my father's sword back, but it was worth the detour on our journey to save our country.
It's all about priorities.

Yes, from the body of my country's previous king... my brother.

It's fortunate you could recover it, despite the circumstances. I have nothing left of my father's.
[Except his penchant for missing an eye.]
no subject
Yeah, I... we couldn't just leave it there.
[He's just grateful that they were able to lay Cailan's body to rest, if he's honest. No one deserved what the Darkspawn did to his body.]
I'm sorry that you don't have anything of your dad's, but you've got memories, right? And, who knows. From what I've learned, you can probably get something if the Atroma like you enough. I just wouldn't hold my breath.
no subject
[Truly, he does. At Alistair's comment though he shakes his head, weary once again.]
I don't think it's possible, even for the Atroma. All of Asgard was destroyed... there is nothing left to be returned.
no subject
[Yeah, Alistair's not sure what he would be like if Ferelden was just gone.]
Well, it still might be possible. But if you need actual weapons, I think Sokka has a forge somewhere. That's the rumor going around the network anyway.
no subject
Yes, he does. I've visited it before and he did offer to make something. I might take him up on it soon.
