[Why are there so many magical people in the fleet? She has no idea. It's still weird to her, but probably no more weird than living in a zombie apocalypse.]
You're welcome to tag along if you want. You know - socialize or whatever. I have no idea who's going to show to this thing I kind of just did it on a whim.

[He gives a shrug of his shoulders. ]
I suppose it wouldn't kill me to show my face for a bit.

[She's just a simple girl from a zombie infested world. Absolutely nothing complex about that.]
Just don't push yourself too hard. Being social can be stressful work.
[She is absolutely teasing him now.]
no subject
[Nothing complex at all. Every day is a an Average Tuesday. ]
I might come out in hives from it. Poor me,

[Not that she'd ever be able to picture Crowley with horns or fiery breath. She's already wrapping her brain around him being a snake.... thing.]
Good thing I'm a Medical Officer. You break out in hives and I'm sure we've got somethin' for that.

[He puts his hand to his chest, feigning hurt. ]
And yeah, well, people tend to paint demons with the horns and the tails and the pitchforks and it's honestly not even remotely true.
You're a good one, Maggie. So kind. So decent.

Sorry, I don't mean to offend. So - what stories are true?
[He has her interest. She doesn't normally talk about home with other crew mates so it would be interesting to hear about someone else's home. She may even open up about hers.]

The depends on the stories you've heard.

[It was funny, the things you think couldn't possibly be real until confronted with them.]

Well, I mean there's Him Upstairs, and there's Lucifer, they're real. Buuuut honestly, the difference between good and evil aren't nearly as vast and gaping as the church would have you believe. They're just names for sides more than anything else.
Though, you know, Hell is real and it's a piece of shit if you get stuck there. That said, I remember Heaven, and that's not exactly the greatest place either. Honestly, living on Earth is the best option, but you lot aren't immortal and you'll end up in one place or the other eventually.

[She's had some healthy skepticism over the years, though. None more recent than when Glenn had been killed. She questions her faith a lot still.]
How do you manage to see both or are you just going off of stories to?
no subject
[Because the people who wrote the Good Book were off their faces half the time. ]
I was an angel before I was a demon. That's how demons work where I'm from. You're an angel, then you do something that Upsets Daddy Greatly and you Fall. And then you're a demon.
It's about a billion times more distressing and painful than how I;m summing it up, but I don't want to talk about it and I absolutely assure you that you don't want to hear about it.

What did you do that was so bad that you had to go through something like that?
no subject
Sorry, that's highly confidential information, and frankly, I don't want to talk about it.
no subject
[She gets it, given that she doesn't make a habit of talking about home either. It's only rare occasions that it comes up but for the most part it's Carl who she talks to.]
Everyone's got a past and it's none of my business to ask about it.
[And she'll be fine to leave it be if he needs to, or talk about something else.]
no subject
[Crowley's genuinely surprised. ]
How about that. That's refreshing. Most people are all up into everyone else's business here.
no subject
[And he did say he didn't want to talk about it.]
I mean sure we could sit down, have a few drinks or whatever, and talk about our drama back home. I feel like that's the only thing most of us have in common - our homes aren't that great. Doesn't matter where you're from or how you lived your life there, I guess.
[And she's done some pretty messed up things, as far as 'how you lived your life' goes.]
