[ It's just about Han's luck that he, uh. Oversleeps.

That is to say, he wakes up on the Marsiva and has barely enough time to get his bearings-- to find his blaster missing and sidle over to the wide windows in the viewing bay to stare out at the unfamiliar stars-- before--

Okay, he actually has no idea before what. What happens. One minute he is quietly, definitely not panicking about the fact that he has no idea where he is, and then he's somewhere else with less idea of where he is, and confetti.

It takes him a few minutes more to catch up and (sort of) figure out the communicator, and by the time he actually tries to reach out, he looks visibly harried. ]

Okay, look, I really don't have time for whatever this is... And where is my ship?!

[ Because that is definitely the most. important. question. of all! ]

[The confetti and jingle is his cue to start searching for new arrivals. People can show up anywhere, after all, and considering his ship consists of him, a baku that eats people's dreams, and a giant purple alien, he figures he might be the least threatening to have show up.

Even if he's the one that's always kitted up in armor and carries a Japanese katana.

So he's searching around when he finally comes upon the newcomer - human from the looks of it - talking into his communicator.]

[ Preoccupied as he is, Han doesn't hear anyone approaching-- so when the stranger shows up he freezes in surprise. Look, if he found a random stowaway he'd be pulling a blaster first and asking questions later. The guy doesn't seem quite so inclined, which is a relief because Han isn't so much a stowaway as he is totally lost.

Taking a moment to look the guy up and down-- the outfit could be from any of a half dozen planets, he figures, it doesn't tell him much-- he tries to gauge his best approach. Probably not complaining about the downgrade-- if this guy saw the Falcon from the outside he'd probably think it was junk, anyway, no reason to make it any harder to get back on it. ]

Pirates? [ he ventures, because it seems somewhat likely. Maybe even a little hopeful, because pirates he can probably work with. ]

Though if you can tell me anything useful about where here is, maybe we can make a deal.

They don't have your ship. You were taken from wherever home is for you. It's like your world is on pause until you get back.

The Atroma don’t really have a sense of timing or urgency when it comes to us needing to be somewhere or lookin’ for somethin’ they may have made us leave behind. Wherever you’re from, your ship is probably there waiting for you.

That's what they tell us they want us for. In theory they're broadcasting everything we do out to...someone somewhere to watch as entertainment. We get bonuses for being more entertaining and thus having higher ratings. I never fully believe anything that people say mysterious overlords have said at some point, but it's the working theory everyone has.
