☯001

Who: Suki
Broadcast: Fleetwide Video!
Action: Marsiva!
When: 4/5, in the afternoon!

[the video feed starts, showing a girl with brown hair to her shoulders and pink lipstick. She looks... unsure. curious, but a little nervous, like she’s not sure what’s going on, but not for a lack of trying to figure it out on her own. that’s a fair assumption, actually.]

So, can anyone help me find someone? I looked through a couple of these posts, but I don't think I saw him. He’s about my age, dark skin and hair, blue eyes, hair in a ponytail...

[her movements are very animated, and she even tugs the top of her hair back to demonstrate the ponytail. she ties that part of her hair up.]

He’s pretty easy to remember, if you’ve met him. Loud, sarcastic, constantly complaining? Probably trying to eat things he shouldn’t?

[She’s saying such mean things, it’s surprising how loving her tone is.]

His name is Sokka. If you’ve seen him, can you let me know? My name is Suki. I’m going to be a pilot here! So, I... guess I’ll be seeing you guys around?

[Something in her voice says she really has no idea what she’s doing, but she’s rolling with the punches.]

It's Shirley. I've been assigned to the lab on the Huntress for a few months now, although I've had to learn most of what I know while here.

You too? I'd try to share what I have, but most of what I've gathered is about medicine. I don't think that will help you very much.

I didn't know anything about working in a lab either. But they put something inside you...you may not like it, but it helps catch you up on all of that.

It's become normal, but that doesn't always mean it's something to be happy about. Of course, none of this is exactly about making us happy...

That's what they say. I've never seen anyone behind it myself. But sometimes you're asked to do things like answer questions, or you get rewards for something you do.

Yes, you do. The more we do things that people watching like, the more we get. It's not the only way to earn money, though.

[Not the worst grilling she's had by far, it's cool.]

Usually where you can find people, you can find work to do as well. There were a lot of small jobs people liked to request in the last place we visited, and before than there was a lot of work in shipping. I've found that to be more satisfying, even though I know appealing to whoever's watching is important too.

Neither am I, but it's the best way to get home eventually...or that's what they say, anyway.

[Maybe the carrot is a lie. But hey, what else do they have?]
