Who: Victor Nikiforov and OPEN
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: The Heron for the broadcast / The Iskaulit for action.
When: Sometime
[It's glitch time for Victor!
The boy who appears on screen appears to be around sixteen or seventeen. He has very long hair and bright blue eyes. He's wearing Victor's clothes, but they are too large for him. Makkachin is with him and the poodle licks his face a couple of times as he starts the broadcast. He laughs a gently, and chides her playfully in Russian before turning to the screen.]
Sorry, my dog seemed happy to see me when I woke up, which is nice because I don't recognize anything else around. I usually wouldn't complain about seeing new sights, but I'm certain my coach would be furious if I was late to practice again.
If I'm right, there really isn't any way back home though, is there?
[If you thought that adult Victor was good at hiding his true thoughts and feelings, it's even worse with a young Victor who hasn't come into his own just yet. He seems pleasant and cheerful, even while simultaneously freaking out over finding himself in such an unusual situation. After a moment, he allows himself a small frown.]
How long have I been here?
-----------------------------------------
[Several hours later, after he has had people tell him that they already know him as an adult, Victor finds the ice rink on the Iskaulit. Emotions are difficult, ice skating is the best way he knows how to deal with them.
That's healthy, isn't it?]

Video
[It just seems right to offer comfort of some kind and this is the best he can offer while being honest.]

Well, at least Makkachin is here. Even if my coach gets angry, I still have a dog.

[In the background Makkachin barks softly, almost as if she knows she's being talked about.]
She seems... different than she was back home, though. Older.

[That's not quite what he expected to hear.]

Everyone goes back eventually, we just don't know when. It's just a case of waiting.
...Are you feeling alright? Do you need anything?

[He smiles, trying not to pressure anyone into giving him a handout.] They are nice though. The person who chose them has rather good taste.
no subject
[He absolutely doesn't remember anything. Damn. ]
I'm sure if you asked around, someone here would be able to borrow you something. If not, they might be a jumpsuit in your closet.
[He's not sure if the size would change with the difference in Victor's size, but he can hope that Atroma can offer that much, at least- hideous as the things were. ]
I'm LumiĆØre.

It's a pleasure to meet you Lumiere.
Do you mind if I ask? Are you French?

omg I am so late.
[Yuri is slow to hear this, he was in a deep conversation with a personification of DEATH and... well when he thinks of his poor dog Victor he has feelings that require a nap to get out from under. But when he wakes up... well he hasn't seen his human Victor in a while. He is pretty sure he knows where to find him. The same place he is itching to go himself.
In the rink, Victor is already skating but Yuri has to get on the ice before he really pays attention. It's Victor... but it's... the hair. The height difference, the tiny frame. Oh dear he's going back in time, the videos he watched religiously, the shows he tried to replicate in practice, that smile that changed his whole life. Victor.]
Victor? [He skates over to him, circling around him trying to get his attention without breaking his concentration and getting him to fall. Ice skating injuries are no joke.]
Victor are you alright?
no subject
You know me? Do you follow figure skating?
no subject
Follow it? I'm in it. I'm a... just a figure recognized by the JSF. Not a big... you never heard of me probably. I'm nobody special but you're Victor Nikiforov and I really admire you and.... Victor... what happened.....
no subject
Do you have a place to practice here?
no subject
[He smiles shyly. He's glad Victor isn't just faking it with him... he seems to really BE young Victor. Not just in body but in mind too. If he was pretending to be nice to him then Yuri would be sad.]
Oh, well... yeah. Just me, though, not much competition. I'm Yuri Katsuki. Aaaaand you're in my practice area but you're welcome to it. It's yours too.

action
So he calls out in Russian to the teen, trying to keep concern out of his voice.]
Victor! What happened to your appearance?
no subject
Oh! you know me? [He moves closer to Mantis and looks a little embarrassed.] I woke up like this. People have told me that I've been here before. I'm afraid I don't remember much.
no subject
[Mantis floats very briefly to climb on the edge of the rink, kicking off his boots. The skates rise off his shoulders as he works to get them on.]
I am called Psycho Mantis. You really don't remember anything about living here?
no subject
No. I'm sorry. We can still probably continue the lessons though! I've always wanted to teach, eventually.
no subject
[His head comes up quickly from it's task at tying the laces up.]
Has he talked to you yet? Yuri, I mean. He's...someone who thinks the world of you.
