[ The broadcast shows a small, brown blonde-haired girl in a dress of various shades of purple and adorned with ribbons and frills. She looks young, probably only about eleven or twelve.

How she has an understanding to working the communicator console and any other knowledge implanted into her mind is on the bottom of her concerns at the moment. The most important thing right now for her is finding her best friend, Teepo. One moment, she was chasing an Exodus agent and suddenly she found herself waking up in space. ]

Give him back...

[ Elize is tearful and shaken up, clearly distraught. Although she's trying to sound demanding (though it's starting to sound more like begging or desperate pleading from her), she's also dreadfully shy, unable to look directly at the feed for a long period of time.

Her arms feel empty without her stuffed doll in her arms. There's nothing for her to hold on to for security, having her resort to anxiously clasping her hands and looking side to side nervously. Her staff is gone too, which makes her feel even more vulnerable. ]

Please give me back my friend, Teepo. I need him. I can't... I can't...

[ Trailing off, she's unable to finish her sentence as she tries to speak in between sobs and sniffles. Luckily, her crying isn't loud and annoying. Just soft sobs. She could have asked different questions, like why is she here? Where is this place? But no, she needs Teepo.

For anyone else on the Marsiva, she can be found quietly huddled up into a ball off to the side, a corner, or anywhere she thinks she can be away from others. ]

[It hurts Aang to see this girl hurt like this. Especially because it looks like something that hits close to home. He's been having to live without Appa, the bison who has been his lifelong friend. And now, here's someone else who is hurt to be without a friend...

Aang tries to keep a brave face for her.]

Teepo is... this tall... [ Elize motions with her arms about half a foot tall. Small. It seems like it's some thing, a toy, or a pet? She prefers to call him a friend though. ]

He's pink and purple and has little ears and a tail. He floats too, sometimes.

[He looks on thoughtfully as he tries to imagine this friend. It really sounds like something else.]

Um... Huh. Is he a wolf-bat?

A wolf-bat? [ She sounds confused. Though, she doesn't doubt that such an animal exists. There are piggits and rappigs in Rieze Maxia, after all. ]

No... I don't think I've ever seen a wolf-bat before. Teepo is just Teepo.

[They're a few steps closer towards Avatar animals than most worlds, at least.]

Y-yeah.... That's the closest I could think of. But that's okay! I'll keep my eyes open for this Teepo. I promise.

Thank you. [ Elize nods, letting out a small huff. ]

I don't know what to do now. I've already searched this entire room...

Just... just do what you can do. It's okay. If he's here, we'll find him. If he's not... then he might be back home, where he'll be safe and sound until you can join him.

[ Safe and sound back home? She frowns. ] I don't... know about that...

Trust me. [He tries to give an encouraging smile.] I heard from the most reliable friend I have that while we're here, time isn't moving back home. So whenever we get to go back... we'll be picking up where we left off, like we were never gone.

No, that's not what I meant! I... [ Then her expression softens. She didn't really mean to snap. ]

Last I remember of Teepo, some bad people were running off with him.

B-bad people? [Now that strikes Aang to his heart, and his smile falters.]

I... I'm sorry, I didn't know that.

[ He wouldn't have known. She's just feeling overwhelmed at the moment. She couldn't help but yell earlier... ]

If we do pick up where we left off then... I hope I can find him. [ She hangs her head. ]

[He still feels bad, and it reminds him of a situation that he was in a long time ago.]

I know that this isn't the same, b-but I still wanna tell you. At home... I had Appa, a friend I knew for all my life since I was six. One day... He got taken away from bad people while the rest of us were busy elsewhere. I know that I was so worried and hurt when we couldn't find him. I even started to lose hope.

But we kept moving, and... and we found him again. He was alright, and we were all happy to see each other. It was one of the happiest moments of my life, even if the things before were so sad. S-so... that's what I hope things'll be like for you.

[ She's quiet, but she's listening to his words. While it may not be the exact same story, the situation rings in similarities to her current situation. Teepo, who she only knew since she was about four or five, was taken away from her. Hearing a similar story from someone about her age is a good motivator for her. ]

...thank you. [ She replies, more calmly. ]

[He hoped it would be a good motivator. While they're stuck on these ships, his words are all that he has to help others.

He gives a light, serene smile.]
