[Closed] You were too good to be true; gold plated
Who: Anders and Adalwolfe
Broadcast: N/A
Action: Tourist
When: Today
[It wasn't planned. Not exactly. Technically, he'd been 'planning' for months. Before he and Wolfe had gone to sleep and woken months later, though that little interruption had ruined some of it. He'd gotten it back on track in the time since they'd woken back up and now...and now the only thing left he was waiting on was himself.
He was the only thing either of them had been waiting on, really, the rest of it was just an excuse.
They didn't feel comfortable staying on this planet when night rolled around, something about the emptiness was too eerie, so Anders feigned disinterest in even leaving their bed for that day and knew he had until the planet's nightfall to set up. 'Setting up' wasn't much, it involved making sure the kittens were comfortably set up in the clinic, straightening the room and going to the Iskaulit to fetch the pet project he'd been working on for a while now. It was slow to grow, but worth the wait. The last thing he picked up was a bottle of wine.
All that was left was to wait and try not to focus on the deafening pound of his own heartbeat.

He comes into the room after packing everything away in refrigerators and storage, only carrying an armful of clothing for them to try on later. It puts him in mind of being on the run again, Wolfe often going out and securing supplies through barter or theft so they could replace threadbare trousers and moth-eaten socks. He turns after shutting the door, holding a jacket in one hand away from the rest of the pile.]
I thought this might suit you so I-...
[He pauses, blinking, then a small grin creeps onto his face.]
What's all this?

Thank you, love, I like it. I'll try it on later.
[A very brief pause and the corners of Anders' lips quirk up.]
I need to talk to you. Why don't you put that aside and have a seat?

[You can never tell with Anders. He's actually quite good at dressing up bad news when he has a mind, but Adalwolfe has known him for the better part of 10 years and this is different. This isn't hiding things, this is... something else.
He sets aside the clothes and takes a seat across from his love. He rubs his hands across his legs briefly, half cleaning them and half making sure his palms aren't sweating.]
