Indeed, it's a bit of an adopted practice the last few years.

[He can't even help but stand like someone aiding, as if it were his job in the moment.]

I typically work at an estate as a butler, to which my employer tends to need the most help he can possibly get — especially when one needs judgement on their terrible choices in facial hair experimenting.

Sometimes. It's good to have daily routine, after all. Keeps things structured.

[... In-between adventures, of course. He is looking through a few clothing selections and make a disgusted noise, tossing aside a button-up shirt that clearly has flamingos on it. These are all his fault. He is to blame. It is a cross he shall always have to carry-]

I do keep busy with a bistro, though, so it is not wholly unpleasant.

Even if time was not at a standstill, Mr. Stark could do with fending for himself for a time.

[ But his lips quirk faintly. ]

My brother's friend more than mine.

[Well, it's not nice to call his family/boss an idiot. But he sort of understands.

He is Thor. No doubt you've met.

It's particularly hard not to meet. He's fifty feet of muscle, bear, and jovial tinnitus.

Indeed. He tends to take up the room.

[Though maybe that's just their relationship. He's often exasperated or humorless when he talks about Howard's less... enjoyable traits.]

I can safely say it's more the difference in personality, but...! [Here, another pair of decently fashionable black pants.] As you were, least we have our time cut short by bandits, explosions, or any other form of stunningly coincidental space theatrics.

Positively expected. Monthly, usually. So fortunate of us to be at least on a partial schedule.

I assume it is to keep things engaging to our, ah, unknown audience.

If there even is an audience. It's hard to say at this point. I'm not even sure if they're actually broadcasting any of what they do, or if it's simply stuck in a never-ending schedule they've programmed for themselves.

... There were fleets before us as well, you know. One that managed to completely cut ties and flee into space, even.

I believe I have vaguely heard of that.

If they managed it, how come they have not released us from our bondage?

An excellent question. I imagine it's not terribly easy, considering we're always automatically teleported right back to our stations, should we try to escape. Have you attempted as much yet?
