Who: EVERYBODY
Broadcast: Maybe
Action: Lone Breaker System
When: The fleet will be in this system from 3/10 to 4/14

Welcome to the Lone Breaker System. The planet consists of a single ghost town that replenishes its stock daily, and a desert that does not. There are quite a few points of interest, no consequences, and a mystery to be investigated!

More system info is here!

Oh, it's okay! I had a lot of friends there fighting, too. It was kind of a big deal.

I yelled a pretty bad word at him, so maybe that's why he was especially awful. But you know, I gotta defend my friends and make sure everyone's safe! That's one of my jobs as captain here.

[Hearing this reminds him a little of Chuck's siblings- they'd often regale him of stories about how, if they were in one of his dogfights, they'd trounce the enemy this way or that. There's a very big difference between talking about it and speaking from actual experience, however, and the certainty in this kid's voice is a bit eerie.]

Signs of a good leader and warrior include knowing your place in battle, and recognizing where your true strength lies. You need to think carefully before you put yourself in danger.

[Why the fuck is this kid a captain, though.]

this isn't much better than my gag tag tbh

[He huffs, holding his ankles in his hands where he sits.]

Sometimes you don't get to decide where the danger is! I could be eating a real good piece of cake and danger could crash in through my window. What's important is knowing how to handle this awful window-smasher, so you can go back to enjoying your cake!

... Or something like that.

"How to handle it" shouldn't include getting bones broken or thrown around. Know your limits and when to run for help instead of attacking.

[He can't really say kids shouldn't be fighting, considering how young certain members of Delta and Walkure are, but he hopes they know better than to run headlong at an enemy they can't handle.

...well. Some of them might.]

[He looks skeptically at him.]

Sometimes you're gonna get hurt fighting. You can't always get away from that!

Unless you just pilot big cool robots, then you might be okay.

[Oh my god, right for the fucking jugular without even knowing it. Messer glances sidelong at Takeshi for a moment, then turns back to gutting the bot in front of him. Sure, kid, giant robots mean you're totally okay. You don't get shot right through the cockpit or anything, ever.

Anyway he gave it a solid attempt, but he's not this kid's parent. He's gonna get himself killed at this rate, so hopefully someone's watching his back, but obviously reason isn't going to sink in easily.]

There are no giant robots in the fleet, as far as I've seen.

[Hey hey, he said 'might' be okay. Also jokes on you, he's already gotten killed before.

The young lad sits with his chin in his hand, studying the robot.]

D'you think we'll run into them? I never saw a real gundam before.

I'm not familiar with "gundam", but I'd like it if we found proper ships or mecha. I've tried piloting the shuttles here, and they're insufficient for combat.
