Welcome to the Lone Breaker System. The planet consists of a single ghost town that replenishes its stock daily, and a desert that does not. There are quite a few points of interest, no consequences, and a mystery to be investigated!

[She shakes her head, still appearing thoroughly entertained by his excitement.]

Maybe another time. Besides, isn't now the part where you show off and try to impress me by winning cheap prizes?

[Kaname leans against the booth, looking at him expectantly with raised brows, albeit completely humorous.]

If you do well, I might even let you put your arm around me.

[Again. That's not the point.]

[He flushes, even as he takes aim at the first target.] That's better than a cheap prize.

[Which is why he takes the time to make sure the shot lands, toppling the stack of cans. He shifts his stance, readjusts, and shoots down the next three as well. The last takes two shots, but pretty good considering the quality of what he's working with.

If it weren't tethered to the booth, he'd give the rifle a little spin and flourish before setting it down. But he'll settle for grinning proudly.]

I'm glad you think so. [Kaname watches him, keeping quiet so he can focus, attention split between him and the targets. Every time a stack goes down, her smile grows just a bit, and by the time he's done, she's grinning as well.

Once he sets the rifle down, she's straightened up and is politely clapping for his achievement.]

Consider me impressed. Which prize are you choosing?

[He offers up a little bow to her clapping. Shooting voretooth (voreteeth?) was more a challenge, but he'll take it.]

Hm. I dunno... [He turns to look at what the booth has to offer, tapping his chin in thought, before lighting on the row of mid-sized prizes. A bear! A fluffy white polar bear.] This!

[Her own gaze is following the prizes until she hears him decide. It takes her a moment longer to find it, but when she does, a laugh escapes her.]

It's perfect! [Kaname reaches over and takes it from the display, handing it to him with a comical presentation.]

Your prize, sir. That was some fine shooting!

Thank you, thank you!

[He takes the bear and holds it aloft.] I dub thee Selvin the Bear, defender of snow and trees.

[And then he hands it back to her.] For you.

[The name only makes her giggle, and she gives it a small hug when he hands it back followed by a kiss on the forehead.]

Thank you. I think I'll keep him in my room. [Meaning not her office.]

[He nods happily and reaches for her hand.]

You said something about food? Deep fried corn dogs? Deep fried candy bars? Deep fried pickles?

[Looking over, Kaname shrugs helplessly at his offered hand.]

Sorry, it looks like my new friend here has occupied both of my arms. You'll have to figure something else out.

[The list of 'food' has her making a face.]

I'll stick with plain old funnel cake.

[He drops his hand, then hops (literally hops) closer so he can sling his arm around her shoulders.]

This okay?

[He laughs.]

That's good too. I should've looked for a food stall while we were stuck on the wheel. [Except for having to look down to do that.]

[She takes a step closer so she's walking with her head on his shoulder, despite the extra maneuvering that may require.]

Definitely.

[She chuckles, too.]

I'm not sure about that. You seemed pretty distracted by something.

[He huffs a laugh.]

Yeah, I guess I was.

That reminds me! We need to get a better picture.

I'd say I didn't mean to distract you, but that'd be a lie.

[They end up near a funnel cake stand, so Kaname stops and turns to face him.]

On one condition. [Her smile's actually a little hesitant, but she goes on with it.] I think it's your turn to kiss me.

[Then she quickly adds:] Only if you want to.

It was a good distraction.

[He bites his lip, then nods.]

N-no. I want to.

[He leans in to plant a kiss on her lips.]

[She finds it sweet that he's so nervous. Kaname removes a hand from the bear and places it on the back of his neck to help him out a little. This one lasts longer than their first since it's a bit more reciprocal. After a moment, she pulls back with her cheeks a little red.]

That was nice.

[Understatement.] Yeah...

[He looks a little dazed, with a lopsided kind of smile.]

Wha-- um. I forgot what we were doing...

I believe you were nervous about kissing me, but I can't figure out why.

[Bear moved to one hand, she drapes both arms around his shoulders and tugs him towards her.]

Try again.

Because you're way too awesome.

[Way, way too awesome for a loser like him. He is not going to complain.

And he remembers now that he wanted to get that photo, but another kiss seems like a better idea. Or, how about a photo of the kiss!? One hand is already flicking out the camera even as he leans in.]

[Kaname shakes her head at his statement.]

I'm not, but I'm really happy you think so.

[Oh, don't think she doesn't notice that camera. In response, Kaname moves Selvin, the aptly named bear, to take the kiss and photo instead. Nice try.]

[He snorts a laugh, but gives the bear a big smooch anyway, with a photo to commemorate it. Then he makes a show of spitting fur out of his mouth.]

That's cheating.

[There's no helping the giggle she lets loose. Arms around his neck again, Kaname lightly kisses the tip of his nose.]

I won't apologize.

[He wrinkles his nose in response.]

No need. I would still like to try for a good picture, though!

[Selfie pose!]

Of course. [And Kaname rests her head against his with a smile!]
