About a month. Since... [Well, since she woke up and wondered if she'd died back home. Her fingers slow on their feather ruffling, but she's thoughtful.]

Since I last got memories from home. That happens here. Does it happen in Luceti?

Um, not the way it happens here. In Luceti people would go home, and sometimes come right back and remember. The shortest time I remember was... about a week? [With Aang...

And she pauses for a moment here, remembering the time that had happened with Nami when she'd come to her house instead of going straight home...

Katara really hopes Nami never remembers Luceti. It hurts, but it's better for her this way.] There was no way of knowing for us, though, if people would come back or if they'd remember. In the fleet, people just fall asleep, right?

That's right. Freaked me right out the first time. Sometimes a person isn't in bed when it happens. I watched a friend fall right off his stool and he wouldn't wake up.

[Now that's a terrible thought. Katara makes a face.] That sounds awful. It's a good thing he wasn't flying a shuttle.

[Cautious glance above them. Ugh. Why must the people who run these kinds of places suck so much.]
