Welcome to the Lone Breaker System. The planet consists of a single ghost town that replenishes its stock daily, and a desert that does not. There are quite a few points of interest, no consequences, and a mystery to be investigated!

More system info is here!

It'd be almost difficult to believe that we'd be able to piece together an entirely new language... But, if we can do that, then there's no telling how much we can uncover about this world. Just the thought of it is amazing!
tsunergy: (smile) (heard about the clueless shepherd?)

[personal profile] tsunergy 2018-05-04 03:24 am (UTC)(link)
You like languages as well, Alisha?
aspearing: <lj user=godair> (pic#11617934)

[personal profile] aspearing 2018-05-06 02:10 am (UTC)(link)
It's not languages persay, but... it's the thought of being able to understand the worlds we visit.

[ Plus, she does like taking opportunities to learn new things. ]
tsunergy: (smile) ((about most things anyway.))

[personal profile] tsunergy 2018-05-07 04:50 am (UTC)(link)
That's as good a reason as any to want to read. It's why I spent so much of my time reading about the world below in Elysia.

[Granted, it was as much so he could look after Sorey as to see the world himself, but motive is just one piece of the puzzle. It's not as if he didn't have his own dreams and ambitions.]
aspearing: <lj user=godair> (pic#10509858)

[personal profile] aspearing 2018-05-09 03:54 am (UTC)(link)
That's right. Neither you or Sorey had left Elysia before Ladylake's festival. ... I'm glad the both of you were able to see more of the world.

[ Despite how chaotic things have been at home... ]

Still, only knowing the outside world from books... Was there anything that surprised you when you first left?
tsunergy: (calm) (so let's talk about that ruin)

[personal profile] tsunergy 2018-05-09 05:53 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, plenty. Too much to count.

[Some good, some bad. There'd been some disappointing experiences with humans, but he knows better than to get into detail about that. Bad enough that it makes Sorey uncomfortable, but Alisha had lived through much of it personally. There's little sense in digging that up. He can dance around it without being super negative, at least.]

I guess the most surprising thing was humans themselves. A number of our family had become disillusioned with the outside world, which is why Elysia was so isolated to begin with. I can't tell you how many times someone told me that humans were dangerous. Excluding Sorey, obviously.

[It's still weird, in retrospect, how contradictory a statement that was. Sorey was right there, so didn't all humans have the potential to be good if they were around seraphim? Then again, he can't blame them for their perspective, either.]

That wasn't the case in Ladylake, or the rest of the world. It wasn't so black and white- seraph good, humans bad. Not just Sorey, but you, Rose and the Sparrowfeathers, Father Bruenor, Sergei... you were kind and complex, you had your own dreams and pride, and you weren't perfect but you weren't bad people at all. And not all the seraphim we met were good, either. I never expected the world to be as complicated as it is, so that was a big surprise.

1/2.

[personal profile] aspearing 2018-05-09 11:50 pm (UTC)(link)
... I can't say that I blame your family for assuming that, especially given what I've learned about seraphim.

[ There are a lot of people out there who have ill intentions... Alisha has met her fair share of people like that, especially those in power. ]

Still, it's people like Sorey, Rose, and others with a good heart that can stand out from the bad.
aspearing: <lj user=godair> (pic#10509848)

[personal profile] aspearing 2018-05-09 11:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Still - I feel fortunate that I've been able to help shape your opinion of other humans into something more positive. You've done the same for myself. Despite having read about seraphim - I hadn't known what to expect upon being able to meet everyone.

At the same time... it's difficult to imagine that there could be seraphim out there that don't have good intentions.

[ After all, seraphim are beings who people used to worship so highly. She hopes that one day - people will return to doing that. ]
tsunergy: (annoy) (if dezel thinks his ice cream is better)

[personal profile] tsunergy 2018-05-12 03:09 am (UTC)(link)
What? Oh, right, you haven't had the misfortune of meeting with Symonne yet.

[Ugh, ugh. Just thinking about her is enough to make him grimace. What an unhappy and unpleasant person.]

There was a seraph who'd become so disillusioned with her fate that she opted to work for the Lord of Calamity. She had a habit of constantly meddling with us.
aspearing: <lj user=godair> (pic#11617939)

[personal profile] aspearing 2018-05-12 09:16 pm (UTC)(link)
... You're right. I had no idea that a seraph had made trouble for all of you. Was there no way to save her from her fate?

[ She can't help but feel sorry for someone like that... ]
tsunergy: (angry) (dezel's are also surprisingly good.)

[personal profile] tsunergy 2018-05-15 03:05 am (UTC)(link)
It's not really something to be saved from. Her blessing is one that can only cause misfortune. Because of that she deemed herself worthless and took out those frustrations on the world around her. Better to destroy the world than have to live in it and suffer, that sort of thing.

I felt sorry for her, but it didn't excuse what she's done. In the end we just didn't have time to waste on trying to help, and she didn't want it anyway.
aspearing: <lj user=optimisty> (pic#12294872)

[personal profile] aspearing 2018-05-22 03:00 am (UTC)(link)
... If it's the world she was after, I, too, feel that that cannot be excused.

At the least, it sounds as though you all were able to put a stop to what she was doing.
tsunergy: (annoy) (one day. ONE DAY...)

[personal profile] tsunergy 2018-05-22 08:27 pm (UTC)(link)
You could say that, yeah.

[It was actually you, Alisha! Congrats! (He wasn't even there.) He tries not to spoil the future, though, since others have been courteous enough not to do it to him, either.]

I don't know how long it'll last, but for the moment I think she's pretty harmless. Just... annoying.
aspearing: <lj user=optimisty> (pic#12294870)

[personal profile] aspearing 2018-05-25 02:42 am (UTC)(link)
Even so... Threats such as that makes going home all the more important.
tsunergy: (sad)(calm) (i don't feel unmanly or anything)

[personal profile] tsunergy 2018-05-27 05:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Mm... that's true.

[He can't directly agree, though, and it would be a little awkward to say that he's in no hurry to go home at all. It's just that... Sorey's here, awake and well, and even if their future is uncertain at least he doesn't have a thousand-year loneliness looming ahead of himself in the fleet. Most days now it's easier to forget about that.]

Don't worry. If anything happens, Lailah and Rose will take care of it.
aspearing: <lj user=dorkwithamask> (pic#12294868)

[personal profile] aspearing 2018-06-05 11:13 pm (UTC)(link)
That's true. Rose seems rather talented as a squire.

[ And she doesn't have to speak for Lailah, really. She's seen her power and wisdom for herself. ]
tsunergy: (calm) (but i know of a few)

[personal profile] tsunergy 2018-06-06 04:46 am (UTC)(link)
I think we lucked out when it comes to choosing squires.

[Meaning you did a pretty bang-up job too, Alisha.]
aspearing: <lj user=dorkwithamask> (pic#12294859)

I'M SORRY I THINK I LOST THIS TAG...

[personal profile] aspearing 2018-06-19 06:45 pm (UTC)(link)
... Thank you, Lord Mikleo. Hearing that truly honors me.

Though, I want to continue to grow stronger. I have Lady Edna partly for helping me do just that. [ They've been meeting together to do just that and all. ]
tsunergy: (calm) (it's hard to find a more upbeat one)

HOW DARE

[personal profile] tsunergy 2018-06-20 02:19 pm (UTC)(link)
[b...links]

You're training with Edna?
aspearing: <lj user=godair> (pic#10509850)

I KNOW

[personal profile] aspearing 2018-06-20 06:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes. Is that strange?
tsunergy: (calm) (as i was saying)

[personal profile] tsunergy 2018-06-21 02:14 am (UTC)(link)
It's... a little strange, but I'm glad that she's invested.

[It means she likes Alisha enough to put the effort in, so hey.]

What are you training?
aspearing: <lj user=dorkwithamask> (pic#12294864)

[personal profile] aspearing 2018-06-21 02:48 am (UTC)(link)
I am, too. I owe her a great deal for her help.

... Eventually, she thinks that I'll be capable of armatizing. [ She's still uncertain, though. But.. she wants to try. ]
tsunergy: (calm) (so i'm ahead of the game today!)

[personal profile] tsunergy 2018-06-21 02:53 am (UTC)(link)
Oh! That... makes a lot of sense, actually. Your resonance has grown a lot since the last time you were squire back home, and you can see us just fine when Sorey isn't around.

[It's so obvious that he's a little miffed he didn't think of it himself.]

Sorey doesn't seem to be having any issues with his eyesight, either. It's a good idea.
aspearing: <lj user=dorkwithamask> (pic#12294861)

[personal profile] aspearing 2018-06-22 02:04 am (UTC)(link)
I've noticed that, as well. It's a relief to know that, to say the least.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to succeed. However, I'd like to try regardless.
tsunergy: (smile) (shall i help you find something else?)

[personal profile] tsunergy 2018-06-22 04:48 pm (UTC)(link)
I should ask her if she thinks there's anything I can do. I'd like to help you get there.

[After so much work, she certainly deserves it.]
