I have appreciated having you as compatriots since I first arrived. Current circumstances have required me to move to another ship however. There was no option not to transfer.

In light of the fact that my move has left the Caprine without lab support, I am offering to assist the Caprine in this regard until the ship gains medical support of their own. If you need me for any reason, you can contact me or I'll be on the Blameless now.

[New ship, only slightly different. The basic design wasn't too different from the SS Caprine. However, there were things about it that were different. It had been customized by a different crew than the Caprine had had.

So this called for investigation! After going to the lab at the back of ship and looking it over to make sure everything was in order, he headed out into the corridor to explore the ship. Especially if he was going to be the First Mate of the Blameless, he needed to know where everything was.

He's just wandering the public areas of the ship. Maybe he'll run into one of the crew at some point]

[Ulaz did choose to explore the cargo bay. He didn't necessarily see the teen immediately, but he could hear the crunching of potato chips. This did require investigation and he had did find the teen there.

[If he had an idea of how rare this was, he'd be surprised. Since he didn't, he didn't know to be. After a moment, he nodded once slowly before reaching to take one. Literally. Just one. And he didn't eat it yet]

[Fie looks at him studiously for a moment, then nods to the chip still in his hand.]

[Oh wait yes he was still holding that chip. So he just nodded once and actually did eat it now. He was definitely... perplexed about the flavor and texture of it. But once he finished it, he continued]

Is there a reason you call Shiro "Mom"?

[Fie shrugs.]

The comment made Ulaz consider that. He could safely say that this was never a reason he had heard before. ~~Boy, what had he gotten himself into?~~]

[Nope they were definitely not normal. Either of them. Her logic both confused him and made sense at the same time as odd as that sounded]
