[ Jayden knows she's not the best with kids, and also prone to not talking to people about her own feelings or whatever, but she can listen. At the very least. Especially if it's Ochako that needs it. ]

If you want, but not for my sake. [yeah this is the problem with her missing almost her entire support system from home; aizawa has to at least half-fill those shoes, and some of them he's very inept at filling.] ...I'll figure this out. It's my own problem.

I think she might have an easier time with that with someone else. [true, as her teacher his students should be able to come to him with anything, but at the same time he knows that his students want to prove to him how capable they are. his style's always been more geared toward observation and quietly putting in place procedures to meet their needs.] ...all right. Something I try to keep in the back of my mind. Talking about how long we've been here just...brought it to the forefront. [and that unspoken threat that they may never get back home.]
