[ audio ]

Who: Clark Kent and you.
Broadcast: Fleetwide.
Action: Aboard the Marsiva.
When: The week of his arrival.

I don't suppose I could click my heels three times. . . [ Only Clark gets his little joke. ]

I'll keep this brief. My name is Clark - I'm from Kansas.

[ He's been the new guy at work often enough to sound chill about this, but he is feeling a little shaky having woken up here in the middle of his workday. To top it off, not being able to hear his mother's heartbeat is jarring.

There's some stress baking in Clark's future. ]

What do you make of this place? I'm curious to know how it compares to where you come from.

Hah! I get that reference! Man, sure does feel good to hear an Earth joke.

[Anything that reminds him of home is good, okay, even cliche jokes.]

It's...interesting. More so the people than the ships. You've got people from all different universes and planets, which is really cool. I've learned so much already. Sometimes it can get boring when we're drifting, but planet stopovers are usually pretty awesome.

[Unless they're planets with cannibals, but hey, that isn't every planet they've stopped on.]

I'm from Earth, but before here, I ended up traveling in space fighting a big intergalactic war. So things are actually really peaceful here in comparison. Oh, and the name's Lance! Nice to meet you, Clark.

Second time for me being kidnapped into space, though at least our kind of overlord before was a beautiful space princess.

[Oh, Allura, he misses you so.]

Most of my teammates are here, yeah, thankfully! I don't know what I'd do without 'em. There's also another guy from my world that was friends with Shiro, and he's pretty neat. And...unfortunately, I also ran into a woman that I think is second in command to the big bad lamebag we're fighting against.

[Awkward.]

Honestly, it's hard to tell. Keeping track of time in space when things are really hectic is difficult. I'd definitely say at least a year. Year and a half? It all gets...really confusing.

[They've tried to make some kind of Earth equivalent calendar on the castle ship, but they're not really sure how accurate it is.]

That...is an important question indeed. Uhhhh... I do love some good ol' fashioned apple pie! It's always a pain in the butt to make look pretty though, with all of the criss crossing on the top crust and stuff. Why do you ask?

Wait, whaaaaaaa? There's such a thing as a pie making superpower???

[Color him massively intrigued. Lance has seen a lot due to his time in space, but this is new!]

Do you actually have it, because if you do, we need to hang out like approximately five minutes ago.
