I'll keep this brief. My name is Clark - I'm from Kansas.

[ He's been the new guy at work often enough to sound chill about this, but he is feeling a little shaky having woken up here in the middle of his workday. To top it off, not being able to hear his mother's heartbeat is jarring.

There's some stress baking in Clark's future. ]

What do you make of this place? I'm curious to know how it compares to where you come from.

[Keith hesitated for a second as he was caught a little off guard, but then responded.]

Yeah. We're on the same team back home.

[Or... were. Keith wasn't on Team Voltron in the same way anymore, but that was besides the point.]

We're dating here.

For now, yeah. A little. I mean, we both want to be home, still, but, back home, we don't remember what's happened here. We've already been sent back once without warning. And, well, we weren't dating there, so it's like losing what we've created here.

Kind of a catch-22, if you know what I mean.

But otherwise, it's been easy to settle in?

For the most part, yeah. I mean, I'm used to this kind of environment, I guess... spaceships and all that. It might be harder for someone who isn't used to it.

But, other than the whole, "I can't go home" thing, it hasn't been terrible.

Yeah, this is my first real trip to space.

[ He doesn't think he'll mind the rest. ]

Considering I haven't been back home since I left Earth, it's still technically my first trip, too. [Keith shrugged.] I've just been away for a while.

[There was kind of a sad undertone in Keith's voice, but it also sounded a little like he was smiling a bit... like a weak sad smile.]

Maybe we'll get back once everything's done... but we can't finish what we need to do stuck here, so I don't know what's going to happen right now.
