He blinks a few times, runs a hand through his too thick golden curls, then peers at his surroundings. A sigh escapes his lips.]

[He cracks his neck to the left, to the right, and strokes his beard.]

Since I am stuck on this ship for the next few days -- hello friends. What have I missed and what terrible trouble are we in now?

Good thing ya back, would hate to see Málum crumble to pieces 'cause Crowley would actually have to do some work for once. [That and Tyrion seemed like he would be interesting to get to know, though hopefully things were doing better in the love category for him than they had been the last time they talked.]

....good lord I have been gone a week, how bad is it?

[He knows how little work Crowley Wants to do. He is not entirely sure if Crowley decided it simply Just Would Not Be Done until Tyrion got back.]

Well it hasn't burnt down to the ground, if that ya concern, 'nd at the front end it seems to be runnin' ok, but I haven't seen behind the scenes. I can't think would go that wrong over a week... two maybe, but not one.

Though think ya got some good work security with him as a boss.

[Tyrion sucked in a breath, and exhaled noisily.]

He's probably doodled in the margins of the ledgers again. With .... interesting languages and some inappropriate pictures. Which I don't mind on the napkins but I do like keeping the numbers straight.

I would say since it's his place he should deal with the fall out of not keepin' up to date on books, but would hate to think the staff missin' out on pay over it.

'nd donno if you should make the most of this 'nd ask for a raise, if money be the main reason ya there. This break would be great chance to show him how much he needs a level head to run the place. [Because while Remy found it amusing at the idea of Crowley running around like a chicken without his head, Remy liked the club too much to see it fall apart, and that was too close to a malicious thought too. Having Tyrion back was great in the fact that wouldn't happen now, and hopefully keep things running smoothly once again.]

[He can almost promise that Crowley will forget to order it - or just do it out of spite to see what will happen.]

Oh, I think just showing up will get me a raise. He rather likes me.

That would put a dampener on evenin's out at the club, but would be great for the Space Bar 'nd gettin' us business over there. [Maybe too much. Nami would be happy with it, bringing more money in, Remy might not though. That meant extra work, and as much as he loved getting to have work and especially with cooking, Remy did like it being relaxed enough to not take it too seriously. To have a few drinks as he worked, to talk to a few friends who would turn up. Keeping it all rather relaxed.]

But lets not give him an excuse to try that, hein?

Trust me, we want to keep an even keel between the two establishments. Otherwise we'll be having certain people either overworked or bored. Neither is .... neither is good. In any way, shape, or form.

[He lets out a laugh.]

Funny, the sayin' back home be the 'night is still young'. [And considering how much Remy liked the nightlife, he may still prefer his world's version of it. Provided there was good entertainment around.]

...Why am I not surprised at that? [Really Jim, just how many do you have on a list? Not that Remy can fault him, but still, come on man.] By this point I got a feelin' he got half the Fleet under 'dibs'.

'nd I was thinkin' more the lines of needin' a silver tongue for arrangin' bets or the like at possible stops. May not need the credits, [Though they did help.] But it certainly be fun gettin' them.

I would agree, but know better than to feed his ego with that. [Lies, Remy constantly does that because Kirk does the same for him. Really, they were too alike.

He then raised a hand to shake away the idea.] Nothin' in mind or planned just yet, homme, more just keepin' the option open for if we land at a place who likes to hold certain sports that can be bet on, not always legal. In fact, be better when they ain't, that way they go no where to complain to. Can't see 'ny of them goin' to the cops whinin' 'bout how they got ripped off at an illegal boxin' match or the like.
