we risk our lives, challenging this world
Who: Alisha Diphda, Eleanor Hume
Broadcast: Nope!
Action: SS Iskaulit
When: Today!
[ It's been a while since Alisha has had a chance to spar. When Eleanor had extended an invinitation for her to do so, Alisha had happily and thankfully agreed. Who better to spar with than someone who's not just a friend, but someone who has a similiar fighting style than your own? Rather, Eleanor did have the same preferred weapon as she herself did.
And really, Alisha is thankful for the practice. The last thig she wants it to be rusty. She doesn't want to be a hindrance to anyone when her fighting skills are especially needed...
They'd decided on the Obstacle Course. This place was perhaps the most suited place for what they're about to do... After all, there was a location that seemed large enough for them to fight in without potentially hurting others or damaging the area around them.
Alisha offers a smile when she spots Eleanor, nodding her head. ]
Good afternoon, Eleanor. It's good to see you again.

Good afternoon, Eleanor. It's good to see you again.

[She'd also been meaning to spend more time with Alisha, and this is a perfect excuse. Eleanor is happy when Alisha accepts her invitation, and does her best to meet Alisha on time.]
It's good to see you too, Alisha. How have you been doing lately?

[ Much like Eleanor, Alisha has wanted to get to know the other girl better. Partly because she seemed like someone kind - honest. Someone with a good head on their shoulders.
Not only that, but... she's well aware that Eleanor is from her own world - from a time before she knew. She's interested in learning more about ths world as it was back then- and about Eleanor herself. ]
Thank you for coming, though I admit that it's been a while since I've practiced.

[It's personal information, but Eleanor feels she can trust Alisha. Eleanor appreciated her companions on the Van Eltia, but they were very rough around the edges. It's refreshing to spend time with someone so earnest, whose first thought isn't to turn to violence, or to break laws, or to hold public performances endorsing arson.]
[Eleanor picks up her practice spear, smiling.]
It's been awhile for me, as well. What would you like to start with?
no subject
[ She knows that Eleanor is the responsible type. Someone who seems to honestly wants to do their best. ]
Shall we start with something simple? Since it's been a while for the both of us.

[She's used to being a soldier, but she's not used to leading. Being a captain is likely to come with a learning curve.]
That sounds like a good idea. What sort of training exercises do you usually do?
no subject
[ She's speaking honestly, really. ]
Sparring is usually the most efficient way to do it. Shall we start with that?
no subject
[She smiles as she blushes. Usually, she wasn't used to getting such earnest compliments. Then again, most of her friends are actual pirates.]
I think that's a great idea. Would you count us off?
no subject
[ She'll draw her lance then, preparing herself for what they're about to do. ]
On the count of three?
