Though I agree, I think it's inevitable that some discussion will end up there. [Next to two gods in full armor, Castiel looks woefully unprepared in his same old trenchcoat. If he's at all perturbed, however, he doesn't look it.]

More or less. [The vessel part anyway.

Cas leans a little to look out a porthole past Loki's shoulder; they're far enough away from the planet's surface. Atmosphere should filter out most of it.] I'm going to vacate my vessel once we're closer. Everyone here should be fine, but you may wish to close your eyes when I do for your own comfort.

[ Loki nods, glancing out the window. He hasn't been out in space since . . . Loki purses his lips tightly. ]

[Well, Loki had asked for specifics before and Cas had shot him down. No choice but to tell him now.] Outside of my vessel, I'm a mass of energy and intent. [Like, photons and shit] If I'm bound by physical laws I'm usually one thousand feet tall, but since we'll be in a vacuum I should be able to condense myself to something more reasonable without causing harm to anyone. [Shoving that many photons into such a tiny space can sometimes make bad things happen so he can't really do it around like, strong gravity. Or people]

[ His eyebrow climb up and Loki is reluctantly impressed. ]

Yes. [Here he grows a little more somber. ...well, more than usual.] Even just trying to converse with most mortals can be fatal without one.
