[ video & action
Who: Katsuki Bakugou and YOU
Broadcast: Fleetwide.
Action: Aboard the Marsiva & the bishop.
When: Shortly after his arrival
video.
[ There are sparks jumping off a very agitated looking young man's palms. He clearly knows better than to do whatever it is he wants to do -- a look out the window tells him that anything rash is probably as good as suicide -- but it doesn't stop him from deciding that he's DONE with this. He was smart enough to keep his head down to figure out some of what was going on, and now?
Now he's pissed.
This is beyond unsettling and he's already worked his last nerve to bits. Being kidnapped and stogged into some kind of TV show? Like hell he's going to preform like some kind of trained monkey for these losers! He might be angling to be the top hero, but he's not about to stoop to some cheap social media trick to win public favor.
And besides... speaking frankly, he's had more than enough kidnappings for one lifetime. Every inch of him is tense and ready for combat, ready to let lose all this pent up rage... but mindful of his situation. ]
Hey. [ He finds his voice. One sparking hand slams into the wall. The smile on his face is something straight out of a horror movie, all murderous impulse and bloodlust. ] Hey! Show yourself! What kind of coward hides and spies with a camera?! It doesn't matter if you put me back now or not, it doesn't even matter where you are, I'm going find you and I'm going to fucking kill you!
action.
[ And all that aside, anyone aboard the Marsiva is free to find a fuming sixteen year old stalking the halls. He may have just had a serious lesson in humility, and he might actually be pretty calm in battle and in dangerous situations, but this is some kind of sick joke right? If he catches you looking at him he whips around, glaring at full strength. ]
What are you looking at?
aboard the bishop. action.
[ AND THEN HE IS NOT AT ALL WHERE HE WAS.
For a moment, all that fire and shouting is gone. He's left whipping his head this way and that in total confusion. ]

W... What the hell?

Bishop action!
There's an armored, positively massive four-armed alien on the bridge when Bakugou shows up, and she only glances his way for a moment once she hears the tinny fanfare start playing. Then it's right back to...hanging Starstriker memorabilia on the walls. Look, no one can say she doesn't have team spirit, and she's very proud of being recognized for her ability to punch good]
It is called a shuffle. None of us get any say in it, but it only happens once. Usually.

U-- [ He sounds just a little off balance, then clears his throat and straightens up. ] Usually?

[And she's finished decorating- for now- which means she should probably get back to the whole "captain" thing. So now Bakugou gets her full attention, as well as a proper idea of just how big she is. Still, despite having to literally look down on him just to carry on a polite conversation, she doesn't appear to be doing anything out of the ordinary. Everything about her posture is...maybe not peaceful, but certainly not confrontational.
She's even keeping her hands where he can see them- her upper two are resting on her hips, while her lower arms are crossed in front of her a she goes through the formailities.]
I am Princess Looma of House Red Wind. This ship is different from the one you were taken from- for one, it is mine. Do not damage the ship, do not harm the crew, and do not do anything that would jeopardize either. As captain, those are my only rules- you are free to do whatever you wish beyond that.
[To a point anyway, but she tends to speak up quickly whenever someone's taking her lax attitude a little too far.]
If we understand one another, I will do what I can to answer any questions you may have. Or give you a proper tour, and leave you to your own devices. Whichever.

Still, much as he might be a filthy delinquent child - he does respect authority. And if this is the Captain, then he has to respect her. Like hell he's going to wreck the only thing keeping them safe from the infinite and unforgiving void of space, and - so long as the crew aren't villains he can manager the latter.
He's still shaking a little with all the rage, but he manages a stiff nod. ]
So what is it exactly you expect me to do here.
no subject
[She can only really offer a shrug- things were usually pretty peaceful, and to a large extent most of the ship maintained itself. And the kid should be able to figure out that helping out around the ship probably means any surprise perks are more likely to be shared with him, so she'll leave him to figure it out on his own. Though the boredom during a drift would probably end up nudging him into helping anyway, if only for the sake of having something to do.]
Your augment determines your duties aboard the ship, and provides the knowledge necessary to perform them. And don't try to remove or tamper with it- the consequences do not appear to be pleasant.
no subject
But that catches his attention. He has no intention o doing it, but. ]
What sort of consequences are you talking about?
no subject
But there seems to be some sort of defense in place against it. Nothing fatal- yet- but the possibility is there should anyone make any real progress.
no subject
It's a problem. He doesn't like someone having fucked around with his head. But he's not going to put himself in needless risk to get rid of it unless he has to. ]
Do these enhancements have any negative side-effects I should be aware of?
no subject
[And from the sound of it, Looma's isn't up to snuff. She doesn't like the augments, but she also can't think of a safe way of dealing with them.]
Nothing dangerous- not that I have seen, at least. But there can be some embarrassing consequences from time to time, when they develop a glitch. At least anything that happens is temporary.
no subject
He snorts. Scratches underneath his nose and just files this under his life being a nightmare. ]
... So where am I gonna be staying?
no subject
[And now seems as good a time as any to figure out the answer to that question. At the very least she can give him a short little tour in the process, just so he isn't wandering around aimlessly. She'll wave him after her as she turns to exit the bridge, angling her way through the doorway with something that can only be counted as practiced skill at this point.]
Follow me. I assume you need to know where a few other rooms are as well.
