Who: Baku (
dreamvour) & Castiel (
angelofthevored) , and all of the Fleet
Broadcast: N/A
Action: Within dreams
When: Over the span of the next two weeks
[If your character dreams, they may be visited by either Baku or Castiel within the next two weeks. They'd appear suddenly in their dream or, if no dream is available, they might pull up a neutral space for your character to ease into before talking to them.
They're not here to intrude; just to ask permission. Permission to share a memory. If your character has defenses against spiritual/psychic intrusion, they'll take that as a no and leave unless they're responded to.
If you would like your character to just experience the memory (from Castiel's perspective) without threading out the interaction, please feel free to have them acquire this knowledge. If you would like to thread with either Baku or Castiel, please indicate in the subject line if you have a preference.
NEUTRAL SPACES: White Room | Fishing Dock | Bamboo Forest
NOTE: If your character accepts the memory, they will have lingering feelings of dread, much like what people experience upon death revival/tampering with the augment.]

It's in the form of a memory belonging to Castiel, if you've met him. I need your permission first, but - it does come with a side effect of sorts.

... Knowledge is not without cost. You may proceed.

[it doesn't matter who it is, Baku herself was unsettled by the feeling, so she isn't pleased to pass it along, despite how important the information is.
But she nods, and steps forward towards Haggar]
I'm ready to share it when you are. Just say the word.

She had not asked what the cost was, but she was primed for dealing with most things. It would be unpleasant and she would handle it, much as anything else that had come her way in her lifetime she was certain. Knowledge was valuable over comfort.]
I am ready.

seeing through Castiel's 'eyes,' looking on as the gods are unable to damage the Marsiva, and when Castiel failed to find a way past the glass, through the seams of the ship, some force beyond the small cracks and crevices pushing him back. Warding, perhaps.
He has no body. Everything feels distant and cold, but even through it there's a heavy stone of dread sinking down deep, deep as if he still has a physical body to react. It lingers like a disease, like the smell of rotting blood.
He comes across a window and beyond it, a creature. It oozes, slaps against the walls, flows like a river of nothingness, of Empty except for the occasional shimmer of oil slick over its surface. It feels...dangerous.
—and the dream eater draws her hand back immediately, once it's done]

It's... not too unlike something else she's experienced before, in more ways than one, that she's hardly acknowledged to herself. It's... possibly different, it does feel different, feels rather like the absence of Something but still a Something, large and unrelenting but the shape, or lack of it, rather, along with that ... sensation...
That must be the price. For all her composure for such things, she does wince, visibly, with a harsh gasp, once the vision has had enough time to sink in fully.]
... A dark creature...
[Said more to herself, her tone a little shaken, as if she's almost forgotten her strange messenger, here visiting in her own mind.]

[Baku is not one to let on that she's bothered by things, but this has gotten to her too; she sticks her hands in the pockets of her jacket and hunches her shoulders, expression far more severe than her usual neutral expression. Her tone is still bland and flat, though with a bit of an edge to it now, that Haggar understands the context]
It only brings more questions than before. But it's something everyone interested should know about - see.

Any news is important, no matter the delivery. Especially if there are those willing to press those boundaries to procure it.
[It unsettling, but she knew this wasn't something to ignore.]

[and were willing to. If only her own powers allowed her to join in on the fun, alas. She inclines her head] There others I should get to tonight; I trust you'll have no issue returning to your dreams?

[This is good; if there is no more to be had, she will remove herself from the "space" to ruminate elsewhere, as further incentive for the other not to linger.]

[she leaves without much fanfare, being the simple creature she is; a door appears and she steps through it, closing it quietly behind her; it disappears as soon as it closes]
