Who: Baku (
dreamvour) & Castiel (
angelofthevored) , and all of the Fleet
Broadcast: N/A
Action: Within dreams
When: Over the span of the next two weeks
[If your character dreams, they may be visited by either Baku or Castiel within the next two weeks. They'd appear suddenly in their dream or, if no dream is available, they might pull up a neutral space for your character to ease into before talking to them.
They're not here to intrude; just to ask permission. Permission to share a memory. If your character has defenses against spiritual/psychic intrusion, they'll take that as a no and leave unless they're responded to.
If you would like your character to just experience the memory (from Castiel's perspective) without threading out the interaction, please feel free to have them acquire this knowledge. If you would like to thread with either Baku or Castiel, please indicate in the subject line if you have a preference.
NEUTRAL SPACES: White Room | Fishing Dock | Bamboo Forest
NOTE: If your character accepts the memory, they will have lingering feelings of dread, much like what people experience upon death revival/tampering with the augment.]

He's heard that it was never a good idea to accept an offering from a demon. Then again, this one was very upfront and forth coming with her information so far. Even warning him about the possible dread that may last a few days. The information might even prove useful in terms of getting home in the end. Still, she was a demon. Probably only an idiot would trust the words of a demon.
Then Manji starts to smile a toothy grin. After all, when had he ever made a wise decision in his life?]
Alright, Baku. Hit me with this memory. [Besdies, it's just a memory! How bad can it really be?]

[wow Manji she isn't a demon, that's insulting. She's a spirit or a demi-god depending on which story you believe and anything bad is totally not completely true!!
. . . oh he's one of those types. She makes a mental note]
You don't want me to hit you. [casually, but she nods and reaches out to touch his forehead, much like Cas would were it him sharing—
seeing through Castiel's 'eyes,' looking on as the gods are unable to damage the Marsiva, and when Castiel failed to find a way past the glass, through the seams of the ship, some force beyond the small cracks and crevices pushing him back. Warding, perhaps.
He has no body. Everything feels distant and cold, but even through it there's a heavy stone of dread sinking down deep, deep as if he still has a physical body to react. It lingers like a disease, like the smell of rotting blood.
He comes across a window and beyond it, a creature. It oozes, slaps against the walls, flows like a river of nothingness, of Empty except for the occasional shimmer of oil slick over its surface. It feels...dangerous.
—and as it ends, she draws her hand back and settles back, sat proper, waiting]

He doesn't flinch away when she reaches forward to touch him. He relives the memory the feeling of dread rising through his whole body. When the memory ends he turns his head to the side as he feels his stomach flip.]
WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!? [To his credit he doesn't actually throw up, but he does the only thing he knows to do when he's scared. He acts angry to hide it.]

Her lips purse at Manji's reaction, but all she has for him in answer is a shake of her head] I don't know. Neither do the ones who saw it. It's nothing I'm familiar with.
But perhaps someone who accepts the memory may know. Or have an idea.

How long as that thing been there for? Do we know that? I didn't feel anything when I was stuck on that ship.
no subject
[she shakes her head again] One would think it's been there the entire time, but it's far enough away from where everyone wakes up that no one's felt it until now. But it's hard to say without someone getting back on the ship and testing the theory.

...I never expected gods to look like that. [Because this is clearly the important part of what he's seen tonight.]

[rather than answer - and given that this is her realm - she instead gets to her feet and takes a few steps away. From one moment to the next the small teen is gone, replaced instead with a six foot tall lion-like creature with a elephant's nose, paws like a cat, and an ox's tail. It sits immediately, head tilted much in the manner the girl did]
Like this.

I suppose that is more what I was picturing. [Rebooting.]

Yes, that is what most people expect who are familiar with my story.

[Although...] So does that mean you're eating my dream if you're in it?
no subject
[she shakes her head] I don't eat good dreams, and I don't have your permission to eat your nightmares, so no. I'm just dreamwalking.
