Video/Action. in which the tiny captain returns and is very unprofessional about it
Who: Takeshi
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: SS Goldstone
When: Now-ish!
Come out so I can kick your asses, you bastards!
[That's the very loud, very determined yell from a very confused and bleary-eyed 9-year-old dressed in some sort of black fighting powersuit as he comes sprinting out from his room aboard the SS Goldstone, addressing the fleet at large as he makes a fist at the screen. He looks definitely ready to fight and he's got a whole assortment of additional curses to throw upon the unsuspecting people watching (learned from so many bad influences, thanks, guys) —
But then there's a long pause.
He looks left. He looks right.
Wait a second.]

................
Ooooh. I'm in the fleet. I forgot — !
... Did I accidentally fall asleep?
[He's unaware a few people went home, but he'll get that news sooner or later. And probably be far more bummed out by the end of the day; moping around the ship seems like the only logical choice when it comes to losing people like Tempest and Mon-El, and so he sits at the table with his chin on his forearm, blowing a sad sigh out from his cheeks. His dear pet and friend Hoi Hoi has been blissfully reunited with him, and sits at his feet, rolling around with a blue ball in blissful ignorance.
Uncool, you two.
Uncool.
He can be found around the Goldstone for the most part, trying to wrap his mind around the fact that he's been sleeping for well over a month while things were happening — luckily nothing as traumatizing as cannibals or exploding planets or dead people in bunkers.
... Small mercies.]

You went home? Are you alright?
That's almost never a good thing... I mean, I always see people come back more worried...
no subject
I can assure you I am... no more worried than I ever was. It's all right. I'm glad to be back.
no subject
That's good. I just don't want nothin' bad to happen if I can help it.
Is your home, um. A nice place, or is the kind where you're happy to be here?
'Cus I'm real familiar with both.

My land had its moments, but I think the Fleet is really my home, now.

I guess it's like home for me, too. I feel like I've been here for so long...
I mean, I guess home is mostly wherever your friends are, right?

[It's home, kiddo.]
How old are you now?
no subject
I'm just nine, Miss Makie; but in a coupla' months, I'll be ten. Isn't that cool? It's 'double digits', so it's definitely a big deal.

I've liked it here. I've made really good friends. So... whatever happens, I'll find happiness somewhere.

You've thought about this a lot, I see. I'm sure your father would be happy you've made the best of things for yourself.

I kinda worry I'm gonna forget what he looks like.

Maybe I'll put in in a frame.

A lot of them are gone now, but I hope they got to keep their pictures I made. They're all in crayon, so they're not super good... I've gotten a little better with pens and stuff like that.

[Like, he'll come kicking down your door with a scrap book. Just give him a week.]
