[Video] 3rd shuffle, 2nd deal
Who: Remy and open.
Broadcast: Fleetwide.
Action: Twin Roses, Iskaulit, or wherever needed on the Fleet.
When: June 10 start.
[Some fumbling and the instant image of Remy holding the camera, as well as a brow of his going up, shows that it wasn’t his plan to start a video, before he gives a shrug. Needing time to now prepare for the video, Remy turns it around to focus on a grey cat, Oliver, to entertain those watching while they wait.
He returns a moment later, taking the camera back and sitting on the bed with a pen and pad of paper before writing a message on it, holding it up to the camera once he is done.]
I’ve lost my voice. Augment glitch, not sick. Hate it, hate it all.
[Remy folds over to a fresh piece of paper, again writing in big lettering so it would be easy to read on the camera.]
Started yesterday, ignored it, hasn’t gone. Will be at work and other stuff since I seem stuck with it now. [This one also has a little >/ face drawn next to the words. He had really hope it was just something that would pass quickly, something short that would be gone in a day… it was not. It was why he may had been not as active the previous day, mainly spending it in his room rather than going about the Fleet as normal.
Looks like he was stuck with it.
Remy can be found on the Twin Roses, or at the Space Bar working. And at Málum later to drink his annoyances towards this all away.]
[OOC: the excuse to use cat video bribery found via Youtube.]

Twin Roses
There's a text setting on these things. Allegedly.
Twin Roses
With his condition now much more public, Remy does make his way out of his room to be able to 'talk' back. That pen and pad still in hand.]
Yes, but then people wouldn't see my charming face. [Turning it around for her to read before adding a dazzling smile along with it.]
no subject
So really it's a public service.
no subject
Flipping over his paper, he wrote down something as he moved to sort out his own drink, leaving the paper for her to read as he prepared it.] Know this is all a surprise, but hope you're settling in well.
no subject
And I've been in weirder situations, believe it or not. Normally I have my team to back me up, but I think I'll figure something out.

Malum
He figured he would find Remy pouting in one of the bars, and low and behold, there he was. He walked up to his lover, leaning down to press a kiss to the back of his neck before saying next to his rear - ]
I guess this means I can return that gag I bought.
[ He's joking. Or is he? ]
Malum
Though half of it was annoyed. It's been a real fun day since he ended up telling the Fleet about it.
Remy waved a hand towards the seat next to him, indicating for Jim to sit as he sorted out his pen and paper again, taking a short amount of time to write down his thoughts.]
Ha ha.
Re: Malum
[ Good thing looks couldn't kill, and besides would you really want to kill him, Remy? As if you wouldn't giving him the same kind of grief right now if the reverse were happening. Give as good as you get and all that jazz. He took a quick peck on Remy's lips before he sat down, winking at the note Remy held up. ]
Come on, it could be worse. You could be, like, five or something ridiculous like that.
Malum
And he absolutely would be giving him the same grief. And Remy knew that.]

Video
[Clearly, this is the most important aspect to the broadcast]
Video
[The camera moved off Remy to turn around to firstly a ginger cat, Remy's paper showing up enough to have the name written on it,] Lucifer. [Then to a pointed cat.] Figaro.
Video
[Especially when the pet adoption center doesn't even have cats!!]>
Video
Different stops will have different pets at them sometimes. Got a large range on the Fleet now days. [Though maybe it wasn't a good idea to encourage a child to get a pet without any clue how responsible she is.]
Have you had pets before? [A good question to start with.]

Malum
Are we going to charades out your order? [Of course she caught the video earlier.]
Malum
Yes, it was funny. It just would be funnier if it wasn't affect him. Or it wasn't taking away his ability to talk. He hated it. It was driving him stir crazy. He NEEDED to talk.
Pulling out his pen and paper again, Remy wrote his order.] Coke, bourbon, triple shot.

no subject
Coke? That work? [Was scribbled under the above words as he dropped the pen back down, giving a shake of his head... but also a bit of a smile. Yes, he really missed his voice, but he could still play up the dramatics as needed.]

I'm not gonna complain if you come into work, but I'd understand if you'd rather not.
He tended to get into trouble when he was bored. And it would be a great distraction from what was happening.]
This happened to one of my crew a few months back. It didn't last long.
I can only hope. That or going to need more paper.

Gingerbread is really good, great for Christmas time. How did they turn out? Your shipmates like them?
video
I LEFT IT OUT IN THE KITCHEN WITH A NOTE EXPLAINING WHAT IT WAS. THUS FAR, IT REMAINS UNTOUCHED, BUT I'M ALSO GIVEN TO UNDERSTAND MY CREWMATES ARE BUSY MOST DAYS. I BELIEVE THE RECIPE WAS FOLLOWED TO SPECIFICATION AND INTENTION.
video
[Remy holds that up long enough for what he assumed would allow Death to read it, before writing another note and replacing it.] Feel free to come over, can trade some recipes and you can meet the three brats I got here.
