Don't Dead, Open Inside || Action
Who: Carl Grimes, a bunch of zombies, and you
Broadcast: kinda?
Action: Waystation
When: Right now
(( ooc: This is a blanket content warning for blood/gore/death. So! There are zombies ahead and you’ve found yourself on the waystation! You have two options: evacuate, or fight them off. Things of note to remember: Being bitten or scratched are the easiest ways for infection. We don’t suggest being eaten. Magic will be hit or miss depending on player preference/discretion. Characters who become zombies will be treated as in-character deaths. Standard rules apply! The event will last a total of 24 hours. Have fun, and enjoy all the undead things. If there are any questions or anything at all, feel free to pm this journal or hit me up at
skorozima. ))
[ The Fleet has been floating along its predetermined path for the past few days, getting further and further away from the Yadrolla System and toward unknown territory. Along the way, those oh-so convenient waystations continue to pop up at their usual intervals. Identical in every way to every other, boring waystation. Neat, right? There are even some of those familiar orange-skinned aliens and some human travelers milling about and generally minding their own business. It’s a good place to stretch your legs, get sodas of questionable flavor, and take those nifty new pets for a walk!
Interrupting the general peace of the waystation, a shrill siren starts, and a robotic voice comes over the intercom as well as all communication devices on the station and surrounding spacecraft, repeating a monotone message. ]
ATTENTION. THIS IS AN EMERGENCY. LOCKDOWN IMMINENT. ATTENTION. THIS IS AN EMERGENCY. CALMLY EVACUATE USING THE NEAREST EXIT. LOCKDOWN IMMINENT..
[ Soon, it becomes apparent to those on the waystation what the emergency is. A gaggle? A murder??? Just.. a lot of undead. They’re not in any particular hurry, shambling and stumbling along.. until they spot what looks like some good eats. That seems to get them excited, arms stretching forward, teeth gnashing, and more growling than any sort of verbal mishmash meant to be words.THEY’RE NOT A WORDY PEOPLE, OKAY?
For those looking to escape, it’s quite easy to outrun them unless you’re not paying attention to your surroundings. Corners can be tough! Just don’t get bit or scratched and all is well, except for their incessant attempts at making you a snack. For those who haven’t come across them before, or have run into some variation of them in another world, they’re resilient up to the point of losing their head or the brain being destroyed. Limbs being broken or missing don’t seem to slow them down, just send them a little off-balance.
All they know is attack and eat.
For those of the fleet still on their ships, they gravitate around the waystation, seemingly not wanting to go anywhere. There is a short window of time from the emergency alert to the entire waystation going on lockdown. Those wishing to help evacuate can do so- but they have to be quick!
Once the lockdown is in place, communication ceases with the waystation. All the rest of the fleet can do is sit and wait, and hope for the best. The doors will re-open twenty-four hours later, once it’s clear the situation is handled and they can regroup, count their losses, and wait once again for the perished to rejoin their ranks. ]

When she seeks out his lips to kiss him again he's happy to help her find them. Slipping his tongue in again when they find each other.]

At least, that's where his hands start. Soon enough they start drifting down. Feeling their way down her neck and along her shoulders. They stop there, perhaps he's a bit nervous about going down any further.]

The thing he's not exactly gotten use to yet is his skin "issues". As her hand slips under his shirt there a slight hitch to his kiss. She hasn't hurt him so he continues on after a moment and doesn't stop her from exploring his body and scars.
Yet, there's still a bit of nervousness he's trying not to show. Even if she says that his scars don't bother her there is that thought in the back of his mind that she could changer her mind as she touches them.]

Maybe it's that Reid had some issues with her seeing under his shirt too (there were no scars. It was more the lack of abs that concerned him). Maybe it's just that their first foray into it was a big deal and that was like 20 minutes ago. Her hand stays under his shirt but she does look at him curiously.] Is this okay?
no subject
He stops kissing only to look her in the eye and smile.] Yeah, it's okay. [He means it. It was okay, but it was still something he would need to get use to.] As long as you don't purposely yank hard on anything you won't hurt me. [He doesn't think to specify that he means bits of metal.]

Well--ahh! Um, [He coughs as he tries to recover himself a bit. Stuck between laughing loudly at his own poor choice of words and the other half wanting to tell her that she should see for herself.] Maybe not all? [Smooth, idiot. Super smooth.]

His hand starts off flat against her stomach. Fingers spread wide as he gently brushes it up her body until his fingers hit the curve of her breast. He would never admit it, but his heart starts beating even faster as a boyhood joy takes over slightly at the touch.]

[She likes that he's enjoying himself and she hopes he isn't really all that embarrassed. Her own first time feels like it was so long ago now and she was so young. It must be a very different experience for him. She kisses him again when his hand starts to explore her body more fully, deepening it almost immediately.]
One more warning for NSFW content in this thread!
There's a slight tremor in his hand that he's never felt before. He's felt the way his body could shake with fear and that was awful. This was barely contained excitement and in a way it was invigorating.
He cups her breast in his hand before gently brushing his thumb along the top, circling her nipple once he finds it in a slow, but gentle motion. Continuing to kiss her back just as deeply as he explores although they're becoming slightly hungrier with each passing moment.]

The moment she takes off his shirt he mirrors the move. He wouldn't be able to say exactly why he wasn't taking the full lead still. Perhaps he was nervous, or that he wasn't exactly sure of the right rhythm, but perhaps it was still that worry in the back of his mind that this was wrong. They both had people they loved that weren't here, but the bolder she is the more confident he felt. The more he could push that thought away.
The moment her shirt is off he wastes absolutely no time at all moving back into the kisses. Very briefly he takes in her beautiful body before he leans in to kiss around her chest. Moving towards her nipple until he can take in his mouth. Running the tip of his tongue up and down in a bit of experimentation.]

Right now she isn't thinking about that. She's losing herself in the moment and all that tension that's been coiling up in her for more than a year is starting to relax as she pours herself into being here with Vash. Making this a good moment for him too even as she moans out at his attentions.]
no subject
Is it getting hot in here? It may be getting hot in here. Not that he notices or even cares.]
no subject
Do you... How far are you okay with? We don't have to... [Breathless phrases come out. She hopes he can understand them.]
no subject
I'm okay. [He was more than okay. What he needed to know was she okay with this? With someone like him? Even though they had talked about the other people they loved this was something else. He didn't want to stop, but he would stop if that is what she wanted. Yes, he will tell her just that.] But... you? [Words are hard.]
