Who: Moira and YOU
Broadcast: Yes
Action: Aboard the SS Heron
When: 6/16

Broadcast

[Have you ever beheld the face of sheer displeasure and disdain all at once? Well here it is again if you have and if you haven't...you learned something new. Because Moira is irritated beyond measure at these circumstances.

Though, likely not for the reason you might think.

Behind her is the lab that is hers now. (She doesn't care that it's supposedly another person's as well.) She does have the Lab Support augment, after all.]

I suppose that this sad excuse for a lab is what we are given to work with here. For something with the supposed funds to bring us here and even provide for such things this is rather...pathetic.

[She lifts a bottle (one will notice that it's her right hand which is decidedly purple, has metallic like veins along the surface and even has very long purple nails on it) and it looks like it's taking all the willpower not to sneer at it.]

Is no proper research done in this place? Are there no areas devoted to scientific discovery? I will have to make do if there are not.

[Then, to be polite, she nods her head.]

Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

SS Heron

[Moira's found herself to be wildly disappointed with all of this. Even the location where Winston was raised was more advanced than this and continued to be after the apes took over and attacked the scientists. Arriving on this ship, she'd looked around for a moment before striding forward. She wanted to assess the state of the lab for herself. Likely it would be equally as unpleasant a sight as everything else but there was just one way to be sure of that fact.

Which meant that one was sure to find a very tall woman who was a new arrival brushing away confetti from herself. She wasn't interested in such childish displays. Not when she needed to know what she had to work with so she could begin to rebuild her research.

Not to mention rebuilding her Biotic Grasp.]

Biotic Grasp? [Curious with a dash of suspicion.]

Sounds like a good thing to have. [Genuinely. Maybe she read things wrong. Just because someone isn't yelling about wanting to go home when they arrive doesn't mean something is wrong with them. It should be a relief.] You're a doctor?

A geneticist, hmm? [Why does it always have to be geneticists? Still, meeting the Hank who had been with the fleet gave her cause to not be as tough on the whole occupation. Her world was an outlier in most things cruel and tragic.] What's your name?

Kitty Pryde. Captain of the Twin Roses. [She's making that part of her regular introduction and it feels less weird every time. Maybe here she's growing more attached to titles.]

Funny, there was a prominent geneticist named Moira back home. [But this person doesn't look like the photos she's seen of the human high council member.]

I couldn't say. Her work wasn't exactly available to my kind.

[This feels like the wrong thing to tell a geneticist, but she doesn't lie about who she is whether that gets her into trouble or not, and she's not about to start now.] A mutant. People born with the X-gene that gives us special abilities.

Maybe your world gave it a less extreme sounding name. [Her world is a little extra when it comes to naming.]

Intangibility. [Not a secret, but not exactly going into details.]
