[ Before they left the system, Loki, oddly true to his word, gave the First Breath an upgrade. The walls of the First Breath are layered with a clear polished sheen seem magical. During certain times of the day or certain moods people are exhibiting nearby, the walls shift through various light tones of reds, blues and greens. When a person touches the walls, the walls fill with colours and shifting patterns, displaying a location that the person is familiar with. ]

[ Loki can be seen around the ship, making notes on what other improvements can be made. Keeping track of any particular upgrades that the First Breath needs to save for. In a fit of pique, Loki can also be seen in the kitchen, arranging their supplies, making notes. Since Loki is captain, he finds himself invested to some degree. He won't be like the others, sitting uselessly on his laurels. It reminds him a little, the first few months on Asgard, being King.

It had mattered. For a while.

Otherwise, Loki is in the lab, testing out the equipment and trying to get a feel for his augment. He's a little on the pale side, taking on the Marsiva twice and the ill effects make him seem more weak than normal, dark circles under his eyes. ]

Double-u tee eff! When'd we get a paint job?

[And what kind of paint changes colors? Prompto roams all over the ship, checking to see just how much of it was changed. Upgraded?

Even more impressive is what happens when he reaches out to feel the wall (does it feel as cool as it looks?) and finds it morphing until he's staring at the Disc of Cauthess. Crystal spires stab upward from a crater, where earth and stone appears frozen in upheaval from the meteor's impact. Unseen is the Titan who caught the meteor and holds it aloft. Prompto has a million photos of this very site, from every possible angle.]

...wow...

[It was during the most recent outfitting of Thor's new office on the Iskaulit that Loki had mentioned - in the overly offhand manner of someone wanting to brag - the new paint scheme he'd finally given the First Breath. And then kept finding ways to mention it. Eventually Thor had said he would come take a look sometime. A little as a way to get Loki to stop mentioning it, but mostly because he actually was interested in seeing it.

It's just the hallways, so Thor doesn't bother to call ahead. He finds himself standing back from the walls, arms crossed as he stares up at the shifting blues undulating across the span of it. He had already touched it once - he's working his way up to touching it again, knowing what it could show him.]

[ Loki was passing by, alert to Thor's arrival, an ill grace to his step. The worst of it seems to be passing, but it's frustrating to have the tell-tale nausea revisited upon him. He watches Thor notice the swirling colours. He doesn't need to know what Thor sees, but he clears his throat pointedly all the same. ]

Does it meet your standards?

[Loki's steps aren't so stealthy as usual so Thor hears his approach. He only turns his head to look Loki's way when he speaks, raising an eyebrow.]

They are an impressive work. Shouldn't the question be whether they meet yours, though?

[ He breathes heavily before he manages a reply. ]

I would not have bothered if it wasn't.

[That earns Loki a sharper look. Thor wouldn't have thought a working like this would take so much out of his brother. And he had finished this days ago, hadn't he?]

Or you'll decide it's not good enough in a week and start over. [It's happened before.] How long did it take?

At least two weeks. I needed an artist to fill the walls with colour before I could enchant it.

[ He straightens, wiping his brow. ]

[Haggar is practically a ghost on this ship with how often she's hiding about elsewhere, as she's been spending some time going around in another guise, but she does, occasionally, touch base...

...Meaning she's studying something or other in the lab when Loki returns to it. Hard not to notice the change in his demeanor.]

You are not well.

[ Loki scoffs lightly, waving a hand. ]

It will pass.

Until the next time, perhaps.

[While she's not entirely certain as to what would have a proclaimed God be under the weather, it's not hard to guess, either.]

I do not think there will be a next time.

[ He's not going to take on the Marsiva again. Not without a fully realized plan of success. ]

[High Priestess over here has been spending a fair amount of time off ship, especially before the promised repairs kicked in, because... well, there were other things to do and the lack of aesthetic was just not conducive to meditating peacefully.

But while she'd usually hide herself away in some part or another whenever she was on board, on this occasion she has curiosity to take a look at the promised improvements revealing themselves at last, and... well, there's Prompto. ~~Hopefully he didn't mind finding his roombas with knives or other sharp items attached to them from time to time for a little "fun"- Jack is the favorite, okay.~~

More importantly, that's quite an image displayed on the wall that catches her attention, and so she pauses a few feet away from him to get a good view of it, observing silently for a while as she does, before-]

Both, to some degree. Though knowledge gained is always invaluable.

Indeed. What was your impression of it, having been so close?

[She'd had the vision and her own thoughts, but not so much the opportunity to pick other's thoughts as of yet. Loki she was the most familiar with, though.]

[ A pause. ]

Unearthly. To say the least.

That is a very good question. But it is beautiful, is it not? A little taste of home, even when we are so far away.

[ Lunafreya has just left her post in communications to take a short break, and she finds herself standing behind poor Prompto. Pryna sits at her side, her tail thumping against the floor, though she does not stay sitting long. She stands to go and greet Prompto properly, trotting to his side and pushing her head towards his hand. The princess requires pets, dear man. ]

This is certainly a foreign magic than what we are used to at home, though.

Paint job? Hey come in the kitchen, can you help me with Pryna? She's begging again Huh.... what? Wait hold up.

_{[Noct had stuck his head out of the kitchen to call to his friend but he paused when he saw the wall change colors and... that place showed up. The disc was beautiful but he just remembered the splitting headaches that came with seeing it in his mind.]}

What happened, is that a projection? What'd you do?

[He can forgive the sharp implements on his droids. He found it hilarious the first time he saw one. Though it kiiiinda hinders their duties with pointy bits scraping over the stuff they're supposed to be cleaning.

He grins over at her, though it's a bit strained.]

My world. Or, part of it. It's where a meteor fell.

Yeah. It's something.

[Of course he's going to pet Pryna. He even kneels down so he can give her all the attention she deserves.]

As long as it only shows the good stuff.

[Scenic images of familiar landscapes is all well and good. He'd hate to find Altissia in ruins, or Gralea, filling up the walls.]

Yeah, dude.

[He's about to answer the call to assist with the pupper, when the gears switch. Instead, he waves Noctis over.]

I didn't do anything! It was like this. Some kind of upgrade? I dunno. It's pretty though, right?

I'm glad it is here. Do you think it is permanent or just a temporary thing?

[ She moves to stand next to Prompto properly as well, and she hums softly. The Disc of Cauthess is one of the very first stops she'd made in her own personal journey, and a place she wasn't sure she'd ever really get to see again. It looks strange not to see Titan holding the meteor.

Pryna is a happy camper right now. Her tail is a blur and she is eager to lap at poor Prompto's face and ears. ]

Agreed in full. Hm, still, I do wonder how this works? It's fascinating.

_{[Said pupper is such a dang whiner. She canNOT just sit and wait for food or eat her own food. Or just be chill. She needs attention and food constantly, she's such a little.... fluffy darling fat kid. But she loves Prompto. She behaves for him and Luna.

_{[Noctis touches the wall then and the image changes to the flower field in Tenebrae, the floating manor in the background.]}

Hm. I dunno. Think the other ships are doing the same thing?

[He laughs and gently pushes Pryna away from his face. Easy, girl. He loves you too.]

Can't say I know. All I did was touch it.
