Who: Bruce Banner + anyone else!
Broadcast: Yes
Action: SS Caprine
When: June 18
[broadcast; video]
[He's managed to make the transition to the Caprine without too much difficulty, but now that's he's "settling in", Bruce is realizing just what being on a ship long term means.]
So, this is it. We just play along with this show, act like nothing is wrong, and hope we eventually get to our destination? That's optimistic. How do you manage to live on ships like this for so long? I've never- This is... it doesn't seem like a good idea.
[He smiles uneasily. He has to resist the urge to pick at his own body, making him twitch a bit. At least he hasn't had any issues so far?]
The food isn't very good either.
[Action on the SS Caprine]
[At least he's used to lab work! Bruce is relieved that is assignment is something he's familiar with (although he did manage to fly a ship once...) and he spends a good amount of time poking around at the ship's equipment, testing both what it can do and what knowledge seems to come to him, because he definitely hasn't worked on a space ship like this before. Or worked around people this casually either. Not to mention the enclosed space makes him very aware of how tight it would be if he were bigger.
That's a great thought.]

Glad to see you off the Marsiva, Banner.
[Glancing around at the lab, Thor can't tell if it's much different from the one on his own ship or the one on Loki's.]
Getting used to it? It can take a while, I know. They're stupidly cramped, these ships.

[Waking up as himself, being on a strange ship in a part of space that looked completely unfamiliar. It was like a bad dream, but at least he had some familiar faces to reach out to. The hand on his should does get a smile out of him. He's easy to please.]
I'm glad you're really here. Are all of the ships like this?
no subject
[Is that reassuring? Probably not. It's true though. Thor sets his hands on his hips and shrugs.]
In size? Pretty much, yes. Inside they have some differences but they all come from the same mould. The only one that's truly different is the Iskaulit, which came from outside of this Fleet.
It's the one most worth spending time on while we're in between systems.
no subject
Yeah, I think I'd like to see it. The Iskaulit. Where did that one come from?
[He's taking some mental notes. This is actually becoming easier to handle than Sakaar, although that's probably because he's not just on the run.]

[Thor picks up a test tube idly, spinning it around in his fingers.]
From what I have heard, it was a gift from another race after the passengers helped them in some endeavour. There's a document on the network which talks about it. [Thor's done a fair amount of background checks in his time here. It pays to be well informed when details are so thin on the ground.] It's more of a meeting place than somewhere to sleep, so people use it for a lot of things.
no subject
All right.
[Agreeing to participate has gotten a lot easier when he's following Thor's lead. He's surprised by how comfortable he is with going along with all of these potentially risky ideas, but at the end of the day? He's actually having fun.]
A few people mentioned it so it seems like a big deal.
[He wants to be excited about this. It's new and seems positive for once, but he's afraid that it'll end up a disaster.]

[They're some of the biggest drawcards in Thor's opinion. He grins, before fumbling with the test tube - catching it at the last moment. Setting it back down on the table like that never happened, he grabs Bruce's shoulder again and starts steering him out of the room.]
Let's do that now then.
no subject
Now? But what about work? Won't the ship need me?
[ It's a half-hearted protest at best. ]
no subject
[This is really the least of Thor's concerns. He lets go of Bruce once they're properly on their way and walks next to him instead.]
I'm the security officer on my ship and it doesn't amount to much work most of the time. You'll know if you're needed.
no subject
Security officer?
[Yes, that does sound like a very Thor-worthy assignment.]
So you're like the ship's bouncer.
no subject
I don't bounce anything, no. [What an odd thing to say. He opens up the door on one of the shuttles and pushes Bruce towards it.] It means I'm responsible for the armoury, which was just full of guns until I bought some blades for it, and also it gives the ship external cannons for fending off invaders.
The only hostile situation I have really seen was when I first got here and the ships had been shot down onto one world.
