just found out the huge monster doesn't like light. magic or other, doesn't matter. the brighter the better.

chased it off. couldn't kill it. don't know when it will be back again.

[ Hell, she even attaches her location, for anyone who might be tracking this thing. Knock yourselves out.

Aaand if anyone happens to actually go to the planet to find her, she's hanging out in a small town, looking for a place to stock up on ammo and possibly get a bandage or three. Her hair is also still a little bit static-y. Lightning powers do that to you, after all. ]

Did you see if it was wounded by your attacks?

yes. it has to take form to eat or attack and takes damage. but even without form, light is effective. conducts electricity too.

Can you lead me back to where you found it?

sure. don't know when it will return though. it was my first time seeing it and if anyone's already figured out any movement patterns it has, I don't know about them.

[ beep boop have some coordinates - rocky skybeach-y area on the outskirts of a small town. ]

[Cas is just hanging out there, right in the mist. He's wearing a mask at least, though he'd debated not even bothering, but he wanted to be able to communicate with people in the mist. If he turns off the respiratory system for his vessel he won't be able to speak, after all.

Jayden might find him wandering around the coordinates, looking for more of those huge bite marks that are scattered over some of the abandoned islands.]

[ Jayden's got her own mask on when she shows up - looks like one of the more expensive, heavy-duty-but-streamlined ones. She sees him examining the area, nods toward the very edge of the "shore". There's some chomp-like scarring there, and the mist still seems just a little bit thicker there.

Her Ghost is there, too - though he's not feeling particularly brave enough to go any farther than a couple feet away from her. ]

It showed up right there. I hit it a few times, then I guess it got tired of the Light and ran off.

[Castiel's gaze lingers on the Ghost -and on Jayden- perhaps a little longer than most people's, like he's trying to figure out what he's seeing-

But he doesn't see fit to address it directly, and returns his attention to the spot Jayden had indicated. So it didn't like light. That's fortunate.] What did you hit it with? A weapon, a spell?

[ He didn't stare long enough for her to feel the need to demand what he's looking at, at least. Moving on. ]

Sphere of lightning. Focused to function like a flash bomb. Want me to show you?

[ She was gonna toss it a short distance away anyway, but hey, it helps.

She gathers a ball of lightning in her hand, concentrated enough to appear solid, and already intense. She chucks it at the ground a couple yards away, and on impact, it explodes with a blinding flash of light and a static charge. Typical flashbang - though the rock she hit with it looks a little charred from the high voltage impact. ]
