[The scene is set, as it is usually set, in Tyrion's engineering laboratory aboard the SS First Breath. There are his weapons, some complete, some in stages of being put together. There are his terrariums, that are going strong with their varying greenery. Some are vegetables, others are flowers, some are just odd looking alien plants that Tyrion wanted to see if he could grow.

What Tyrion appears to be working on now, is a Very Fancy Looking Airmask. He is screwing a stronger air-filter into place, as he speaks to the camera.]

I do not suppose ... I could interest some people ... into coming down below with me? I can promise you better equipment than what they are offering, and for much less the going price.

[Mis-match eyes lift up, and he smirks.]

Let's just say I'm interested to know what makes this fog so very special.

I do have a mace.

[He pulled out a mace that looks like it's been fused together with at least five different metals.]

[Kramm looks very excited by the prospect. It's not his well-loved and familiar mace, but it's something.]

That'll work! Did you make that yourself?

[He puts the mace down, and nods.]

Indeed, I have handmade most of the weapons on my ship, besides the ones I stole from those who have attacked us.

[Kramm smiles widely.]

Sounds like you've got a pretty handy set of skills there, Ty. I wanna hear all about it, you think there'll be time to reminisce on our trek?

['Ty' ... well he has had worse nicknames.]

I believe so, but you should probably come over to my ship first so we can do a fitting for your mask.

Hm? Oh, yeah! Because of the mist. I can come now, 'd love to swing that mace around too, get a feel for it.

All right, I shall expect you soon. [A thoughtful pause.] Do you enjoy wine?

Aaaaaah, I'm more of a beer buy, but ... I'm not passing it up if you're offering.

[Short pause, then a burst of barbarian inspiration -] In fact, how 'bout a trade? I got some lager from the last place - or, an ale, from the place before, what's your poison? I mean, okay yeah wine, that's obvious - you like beer?

I am offering - and oh really? I like .... ale. Ale is acceptable. Not sure about ...beer.

I shall bring my ale, then!

[He's pretty happy with this arrangement, and bids a hasty, enthusiastic goodbye. Then, he's showing up on Tyrion's ship with a growler of ale, just as promised.]

Hello?

[Tyrion is working on his mask, naturally, but he does look up when the large lizard man - lizard person - makes himself known.]

Ah! Excellent, that you for coming, Kramm.

[He hops off his stool and hobbles over to meet Kramm, offering up his hand. His hair is pulled back and there's grease on his brow, but he carries himself like a man who knows what is going on.]

Kramm settles down on a knee and clasps Tyrion's hand in his, matching firmness. He's got no doubts on the engineer's abilities, excited to see what he's done already and what he's currently working on.]

Thanks for the invitation. So what's that on your table now, a mask you said?

Indeed - a breathing mask to delve further into the mists.

[He walked the other man over to his main engineering table, gesturing to the several prototypes he had been working on. All had different looks and materials.]

Feel free to try them on, tell me which is the most comfortable

[Kramm walks over to the table and sets the growler of beer down, looking over the prototypes that Tyrion has assembled. He pulls one up that he things will be a likely candidate to fit over his snout. He pulls it on and turns to Tyrion, holding his hands out in a flourish.]

[Tyrion hummed before gesturing to Kramm to take it off his head.] Did your eyesight seem off to you? A little unfocused?"

[Kramm takes it off and hands it over to Tyrion. He's never worn a mask like this before - although back in his own world he'd been starting to consider it ; it seemed every one of his buddies were perfectly capable of trouncing around in the dark and he was stuck groping through the darkness or begging for light spells with the humans.]

I mean -- it's, I can see? It looked alright to me.

All right, good. That means the eye-sockets can be made almost universal.

[He nodded his head with approval.] Did it seem too tight? Could you breath normally?

[He thinks for a moment, then nods. He hadn't noticed anything amiss.]

Seemed fine. Granted, I'm just standing here; think it'll hold up once we're huffing and puffing around?

That ... is why I need to do further experiments. I will actually have to go down to some of the higher, lower levels and see how effective these filters actually are.

Mm, yeah? So when do we actually get to the fight?

[He's a little twitchy for action once he realized it was an opportunity.]
