[The scene is set, as it is usually set, in Tyrion's engineering laboratory aboard the SS First Breath. There are his weapons, some complete, some in stages of being put together. There are his terrariums, that are going strong with their varying greenery. Some are vegetables, others are flowers, some are just odd looking alien plants that Tyrion wanted to see if he could grow.

What Tyrion appears to be working on now, is a Very Fancy Looking Airmask. He is screwing a stronger air-filter into place, as he speaks to the camera.]

I do not suppose ... I could interest some people ... into coming down below with me? I can promise you better equipment than what they are offering, and for much less the going price.

[Mis-match eyes lift up, and he smirks.]

Let's just say I'm interested to know what makes this fog so very special.

You have a better mask?

I am working on a better mask - I need to refit it and test it, naturally. One should not say one has a better mask unless one can use it in a real world application.

Huh. I've tried both of mine from home already... neither worked, despite being air tight. I mean... I can wear them out in space.

[And left him in three days of hellish crippling paranoia. Not something he wanted to repeat a third time.]

Out in space is not ... going to filter out whatever this is. It is a particular substance that needs to be filtered. I am going to be testing various compounds to see what properly keeps it out of one's mask.

[Hmmm, but if a space helmet is not impervious -- he makes some notes in his ever trusty notebook.]

[Keith frowned. That just seemed odd. There had to be something in the mist that was permeating the suits in some way. They were technically air-tight, but... maybe not as completely as he though...]

Yeah, I do. I want to see what's beyond the spot where I keep... you know... getting exposed to that stuff.

That does seem to be the common complaint. I am going to see if I can get someone with laboratory experience to experiment on the mist itself. See what we are missing.

That sounds like a good idea.
