A) Exploring the Mist.
Hux will find his personal blaster from home during one of his encounter of his own fears. If you want me to do another thread prompt for fear I can create another one.

"Fear of failure"

[Using the simple space suite provided from their ship, Hux set to exploring the mist. At first it started out as a faint voice. Hux had shrugged it off and continued to explore the mist. He was curious to see what he could find and how much of those rumors were true. What powers were there that he could possibly gain? Could this make him better then the pathetic Force user that was Kyo Ren?

But then he kept hearing it again. His father's voice taunting him, calling him weak willed and useless. Breathing heavily into his mask he looked around trying to find the source. He saw nothing but mist swirling around him.]

It's just your imagination.

[Hux said to himself in a firm tone. He continued to push forward, only he wasn't finding nothing. He began to wonder if he was going in a mere circle.]

You're a weak, pathetic boy. You're never going to go anywhere. I don't know why I wasted my time on you. You just keep failing even when giving everything. You'll never be good for the First Order. I was always right about you.

[Hux whirled around trying to face the person who sounded like his father. He was dead. He's not here. Yet, it sounded so much like him. He pointed the blaster in the direction of the voice, his eyes wide and his own heart beat racing.]

B: Exploring

For someone who didn't want to leave the ship, Hux could be found exploring the various little islands that the world had to offer. While exploring, he took to salvaging anything worth using or eating. It never hurt to stock up on such things. Checking the various shops, he kept an eye out for his tea or various wires and scraps that could be used to making more things.

C: Wildcard

This can be anything in the system, back on the ship, or if you want another mist thread.

[Furiosa is finishing a shift on construction, carting a sizable load of scrap to the dump pile before punching out. She stops shy of upending the cart when she sees a familiar figure picking through what's already there.]

Mostly just strips and sheet metal in odd shapes. IF that's what you're going for you've found the right pile.

These strips would be perfect for what I need. Are there any wires and screws as well?

[Hux questioned, pleased to see a familiar face working here. Maybe...he might spend some time working here too. If only he could get more scraps out of the deal.]

Smaller stuff like that they've got in a bin closer to the site. I can take you up there, let you rifle through it.

[She liked visiting other planets and stations, getting a chance to see where the Fleeters tended to congregate.]

No, unless I come across something really useful. I've got a pretty decent stock on ship already. I work for the money, and the work. Don't want to go soft.

[She sighs and looks over the cart she's currently got, then motions to it and looks over at Hux.]

You want any of this before I dump it?

Yes, I would like to take some of this. I may be willing to work here as well. It'll be something to do.

I'm sure they'd take you on, always looking for a few extra hands. Why don't we dump what you don't want, take the rest to your shuttle, and then head over to the main offices?

[Keith had decided to give the local equipment a try after both his BoM suit and Paladin suit failed in the mist. Surely someone around the area knew how this stuff worked, so he was attempting to locate something that could handle it.

He glanced over, seeing Hux at a location a few doors down looking through some scrap bins. He finally decided and purchased a mask before walking over to see what he was doing.]

Got a project in mind?

I have a few in mind.

[Hux replied and nodded in Keith's direction.]

I want to readjust the space suit, the fleet provided us...and I may be building a small droid for your friend.

A droid? Like a robot?

[Keith chuckled a little.]

You mean for Pidge? She'll love that.

Yes, we call them droids at home. She appeared to be fascinated with the small droid I was making. I felt that I could make a similar one for her as a small peace offering.

Aside from that it's always good to have supplies at hand for other projects or emergencies.

She had something like that back home for a while. It uh... well, it got destroyed when the Castle was taken over by an enemy. Having another one around would probably be something she'd like.

[Keith glanced over Hux's shoulder, watching him dig through the bins for a bit.]

We usually try to stock up on stuff before we leave a system, so not a bad idea, really. The ships are actually pretty good at self-repair, but there are times when that might not work, or something interferes, so yeah. Being prepared isn't a bad idea.

Is there anything you want help looking for?

The scrap here is pretty good. I can easily find this here, but I'm trying to find the more smaller things, like wires, nuts and bolts, computer chips. I'm having a harder time finding those.

Well, it'll be a bit before I can provide Pidge the droid. I'm almost done working on the prototype. I would appreciate that you don't mention it to her.

Absolutely. I won't say a thing.

[Keith poked around a bit as well, deciding to pitch in and help. He knew the basics of what Hux was looking for, at least. He wasn't completely ignorant. Every pilot in the Garrison had to take a basic engineering course.]

How have you been settling in, otherwise?

[Keith wasn't sure how many computer chips they'd find around here, since everything seemed a little behind the times for that sort of thing, but wires, nuts, and bolts were definitely easy.]

It's getting better, I suppose. I'll admit it's hard not having control of things as I'm used to having. Having to step aside and wait for orders is something I'm having to get used to.

But now that I have work on projects it's giving me something to focus on. How are you enjoying this planet?

[Death isn't as sure of what he'll find looking through the salvage bins, but there are all kinds of interesting looking gears and whatsits to be found and perhaps do something with. He looks over at Hux and holds up a long screw.]

[Hux blinked a few times and looked up from the bin he had been looking at. He was unsure of how to respond to the naive question and to the person who was talking to him. He also wasn't sure if this was some kind of cruel joke that someone was playing on him. They had their own versions of Death back home, but this was something else. So he went for the obvious approach. Simply answer the question.]

You're holding a screw that's used to help connect pieces of various materials together. --Is there something specific you are looking for?

I'M NOT SURE. I WANT TO BUILD A STURDY BED FOR A CAT, BUT I HAVEN'T THE FAINTEST IDEA OF WHERE TO START.

A cat? What kind of creature is that?

[Hux questioned, a little curious. For him to understand what type of bed the other wanted he needed a better understanding of the animal.]

OH. ERM. A SMALL ANIMAL, ABOUT THIS BIG. [He holds out his hands to indicate the average size of a house cat.] THEY LIKE TO SLEEP A LOT SO I FIGURED I COULD MAKE A BED SUITABLE FOR THEIR STATURE.

[It wasn't exactly a great measurement....but Hux was able to get some kind of indication to the size he was referring to.]
