(no subject)

Who: Flug, citizens of Drade and you!
Broadcast: Player's discretion
Action: The public areas and streets of Drade
When: Any day or night during the Yaugur system visit

[Daytime Pleasantries]
[It's the happiest the doctor has ever looked. Perhaps it comes as no surprise that the seemingly scopophobic plane enthusiast would feel at home among a mask-wearing air colony, but compared to Flug's typical gloomy disposition, the difference is striking; even the distant roars of the ever approaching mist entity determined to devour them all only evoked a slight pang of nostalgia for the Scientist. Nothing will wipe the smile off his hidden face.

Flug hums a jaunty tune to himself, sprawled out at a public table near a Cliffside where the locals are casting out their kites. Surrounding his person are many tiny bottles of paints and a few even tinier model aircrafts. While some are already painted, Flug appears to going for an even greater accuracy by repainting them with needle-like precision. He looks rather comical wearing a magnifying glass already over his goggles, but you can't argue with the results! Only one bag remains unopened, a flap of it folded over to reveal a few sparkly more child friendly looking craft supplies labeled with the number 5.0.5.

As engrossed as he is in his task, he doesn't look as though he'll mind your presence. On the adjacent table are assorted crafting supplies for traditional Drade DIY kite assembly set up by the locals, pass the glitter substitute!]

[Nighttime Terrors]
[Of course, Flug wouldn't be a villain if all his hobbies were quite so innocent. While it's true he enjoyed relaxing at that location, the kite flying cliffside provided a secondary perk: the perfect vantage point for viewing some of that areas prized vessels. If airships were comparable to cars than that 'speedboat' model on display was a porche. He could nearly scream. Flug wants it. Badly. He can't help himself!

Fortunately, it seems he isn't the only one. Years of criminal activity made it fairly easy to see when a heist is going down-- particularly with lower tier criminals. If Flug plays his cards right, he can simply intercept whenever the third party make their move and hang back while they do all the work for him. Textbook villainy! They should really add that into their Orientation series...

But not tonight. Flug stumbles and catches himself on the alley wall as a rumble down the street occurs. Something about the words, 'monster' and 'gas leak' are uttered. With so much of the island running on the fear-inducing vapors, accidents are bound to happen. The question is what. Curiosity may kill the cat, but Flug has already created life, hasn't he?... surely that cancels something out? It seems he'll get his answer when he turns the corner.]

OOC: A couple catchalls! Want an excuse to be affected by the mist? There are plenty of ways to accidentally catch a whiff! Are you the type to just roam the night? Ignore the mist and mingle instead. I'll gladly tailor a more specific scenario if you want to send me a PM.

"Huh."

[Some of what Flug said had clearly gone over Manji's head again. At least this time he's grasped the correct concept.] "So you're saying the whole planet is dying?

Planets don't die. They're planets." [Said the man who use to think traveling along the stars was impossible.]
