Hey, Fleet. First, some business to address.

I've kind of fallen down on the job maintaining Discovery One. It's a lecture hall on the Iskaulit. It needs lectures. So, if you've done them before you're welcome to do more. If it's new to you then the subject is pretty open. Talk about some field of study you know something about or a hobby or about your world. I'll get a schedule arranged and help you come up with supplies if you need them. Some of us enjoy learning so don't be shy. And if there is some kind of lecture you want to hear let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Speaking of teaching, I also run the Dance Studio also on the Iskaulit. I've mentioned this before but with our turn over it bears repeating. I'll be teaching classes. Probably some ballroom and modern stuff since that seemed to be what people were interested, but I'm in it for the ballet at heart so if anyone wants in on that let me know. It's good exercise. You can also just use the room to practice or host dances if you want. Just clean up and keep it to open dance times. There's a schedule on the door.

Okay, business over. Everyone go back to your casual wear. No more top hats and ties or whatever business people wear.

I have a personal question just between you, me, anyone listening if you don't make it private, any of the snooping comms officers (Crowley) if you do make it private, the Atroma, and their audience. Who else has powers and what's that like for you back home? [She probably already knows a lot of the powered folks, but maybe not the impact that has on them in their world.

Should she mention it's her birthday in a couple of weeks? Nah.]

[You can find her in Discovery One going through some notes or at the dance studio practicing some basic ballet forms or attend a class! She also works at Malum as a bartender so she might just be the girl saying, "What are you drinking?" when you walk in. She could also be taking Seeker, her direwolf pup, for a walk through the halls, getting a new book or ten at the library, or working out in the gym. She's kind of there a lot.]

Iskaulit - Halls

[Freya enjoys the Iskaulit, mostly because there is a mountain inside. What is cooler than having a mountain inside of a space ship? NOTHING! Nothing was cooler than that. It is also a great place to run without flashing the whole fleet before becoming a wolf. She figures the viewers know but there is no helping it. Freya can't stay in her human form forever.

That'd suck.

She's padding through the halls, her ratty black backpack slung over her shoulder as she glances over her shoulders in time to see a direwolf pup. Well, that's new. Their eyes met and Freya is sure that the puppy can smell that she's also a wolf, even if she's currently not shaped like one.

She's not sure how it's going to take her. Not all wolves know what to make of her race of mostly wolf, a little human looking, nonsense.]

[Kitty comes to a stop when Seeker does. She looks over at the pup and then follows the direction of his gaze until it lands on a girl she doesn't recognize. Maybe someone newer to the fleet or more seldom on the network. Then again Kitty doesn't stalk the network with the same frequency she used to. She's been keeping herself busy in other ways. But she's also looking at him like they're having a moment.

Seeker seems extremely curious and a little confused about the mystery woman. He's always been a very curious pup. When he'd appeared to Robb initially on one of the worlds they visited he'd been somewhat disappointed that he was friendlier and more playful than Grey Wind had been. He was less a fighter but even more a tracker than the other wolf in Robb's memory. Kitty figured it was more about just not being exactly Grey Wind. She suspected the Atroma had a hand in it too since the pup never seems to grow and from what she's heard he should be a very, very large breed indeed if he did. With Robb gone Seeker went to Kitty, the one who named him.

Kitty doesn't keep him on a leash and the pup begins walking somewhat cautiously toward Freya. She speaks up, keeping an eye on Seeker. He doesn't seem aggressive or agitated, but he hasn't reacted to anyone else this way.]

Hi. I'm Kitty. You're not carrying a steak with you by any chance? [Kidding. She's pretty sure the pup would react differently to that.]

[Freya stares at the pup for a good twenty seconds before curling her legs and sitting in the middle of the hallway. She knows that she smells like wolf and that her race has an odd relationship with wolves because of it but she likes making friends, human or wolf, and Seeker seems like a good pup.

His eyes tell her that he's young and the muscles in his shoulders tells her that he's curious. He doesn't look like much of a fighter, so she isn't really worried about him attacking. That and Freya has an affinity for speed, it'd be easy to get away.] No steak but wolves and dogs generally need a moment to smell me before they're comfortable around me.

It's a thing. I'm used to it.

[She looks up at Kitty.] I'm Freya. What's his name?

Seeker. [Kitty watches as the girl sits in this area not generally used for sitting. Not that she's going to be judgmental for that. She usually sits on counters and tables instead of chairs herself. Or rooftops whenever they're available which is less often in space. But it is a curious thing.

Seeker slowly moves closer to Freya, sniffing as he goes, occasionally looking up, still not sure what to make of her.]

Mind if I ask what kind of a thing? [She and Seeker have curiosity in common.]

My world has powers! We call them Quirks, but it's the same dealio. Most people have one at this point, though they're not always the most useful, so seeing people with powers is just a normal part of life now!

Aizawa told me about some of that. [Kitty had been interested in how people handled the process as it went from rare to common.] What kind of less useful powers are there?

[oh thank god, because her knowledge of history is pretty slipshod. not a bookworm, this one.]

Let's see... when I was little I went to school with a kid who could unjoint his fingers and bend them all the way backwards. Some people have animal features- not abilities, just like a snake head or a pig tail- that don't do much, but I guess look pretty cool! Umm, hmm. ...Oh! That guy who can make your eyebrows really bushy!!

I had animal features before thanks to an augment glitch. It did feel pretty useless now that you mention it. [She doubts she would have liked it better if she'd been more cat.]

[She tilts her head.] He can make other people's eyebrow's bushy? Just their eyebrows? [She says that like growing someone else's hair would be a huge advantage.]

Where I come from what I can do would not be considered having powers. Honestly the thought never occurred to me until I came to this place and needed to start explaining what I am and can do to others. It is simply so normal to know about my kind where I come from.

[A pause and then he rests a hand over his head and bows his head politely.]

For reference, I am a werewolf.

It must be confusing here where most people have probably heard of werewolves but everyone probably has a slightly different idea about you. [Some fictional and some based on experiences.]

I noticed that more with vampires though. [There were a lot of extremely different vampires and vampire hunters back in her last abduction spot.]

I've only had to manage dealing with what people have and haven't heard about werewolves. I haven't even encountered the differences for vampires yet.

[Based on his expression, just the werewolf thing is tiring enough.]

I've met a couple of werewolves or a werewolf and a wolf...person, but since we are actually all from different worlds I have no idea what holds up as the same. I know where Oz was from werewolves were real, but most people thought they were fictional. Sounds like that's not the case for you.

I see my Lord has started to explain the matter, but to add to it.... I am a werewolf, but there isn't really anything that's magic in it. It's mostly biology and there is some science involving the soul that we are still studying.

And we are integrated into society. Still under surveillance of course, although we largely police our own and are left to our own devices most of the time.

Your lord? [Pretty easy to guess who he means.] Do you mean that in an old timey way or is it a werewolf thing?

Surveillance, huh? [That doesn't sound great and he just says of course like it's totally natural.]

He is my Alpha, but also a Lord. Lord Falmouth.

[And it is natural.]

The Bureau of Unnatural Registry keeps track of supernatural affairs. It is also almost exclusively staffed with them. Usually, a werewolf is the head of the Bureau, and we have werewolf, vampire and ghost operatives. And a few humans for daytime duties.

[It's strange to hear, but considering her life not that strange. It wasn't the kind of thing she'd especially expect back home or at least she'd assume it was a mutation presenting as something else. After all, she's been called a ghost on more than one occasion. But it's all a lot more reasonable after her years in various multidimensional abduction rings like the fleet.] I take it werewolves, vampires, and ghosts aren't big fans of the daytime?

I used to listen to conversations all the time in the last place. The augment makes it harder here. Or much easier depending. [She doesn't have the communications one though.]

Weren't your powers something like you can do anything?

[There's almost no gossip. ]

Pretty much. I could bend reality completely. Like hey, I want a glass of wine? There's a glass of wine. I want to turn something into something else? Boom, done.

[ Sara is passing by the studio when movement catches her eye. She notices Kitty doing some forms and leans against the doorframe. She speaks when it seems like Kitty is between forms ]

You are a woman of many talents.

[She's just about to start another pose when she notices the voice and sees Sara in the reflection of the mirror.] Maybe I'm just a show off.

I don't think those are mutually exclusive.

THREADS FOR THE THREAD GOD

I thought Pietro and I were the only humans. Natasha said there was someone from home here who said he was a wizard? But I've never met anyone else like me until I came here.

Doctor Strange? I met him. He has a great cape. [Pause] Cloak. [That was for the cloak's benefit and not Strange's!]

Steve is kind of powered, right? I mean, he's definitely stronger than your average guy. And Thor is definitely...above average. [Dude is hot. Oh, and he can summon lightning.]

[Well that's just...strange and way too on-the-nose.]

Not in the way that makes people frightened when he sneezes.

[They're both science experiments gone very right but Steve is a super soldier and Wanda is something no one knows how to explain. She can understand why people are sometimes wary of her, but that doesn't mean she likes it.]

And Thor is Asgardian. Powers are not so strange to them. Not like on Earth.
