Last minute shopping~

[Biffy honestly hadn't ever thought he would find someone who is almost a kindred spirit. It seems that decades can't stop some men from just wanting to look good and do all it takes to stay that way. To find that in someone outside his mate? Well, Biffy is more than a little eager to invite Lance to come on a shopping trip to the system they're at while they still can. There is still plenty they can purchase and possibly even some trinkets they can get for loved ones.

Coming up to him, he smiles as he tilts his hat to him. As usual he is in a finely tailored suit with colors that bring out his beautiful blue eyes. It's what he's used to wearing, after all.]

I am sorry for keeping you. I can purchase some supper for you in a little bit to make up for it.

[He's not actually late. However you can't just claim you were on time. That's utterly unfashionable!]

[While he's brought people shopping with him on various planets before, none of them had ever truly had the passion for it that he did. Biffy is different, a true kindred soul, and Lance is incredibly excited for this trip.

He's dressed well enough in a pair of dark jeans and sweater, and greets Biffy with a huge smile.]

You're not late at all! Don't worry about it, seriously. As for starting, uhhh, I think I saw a really cute boutique a few blocks away when I was on my way here. We could go there as our first point.

That's a wonderful place to start. I recall the one and there were some accessories I was thinking about looking at again.

[Already he can tell this is going to be fun. There's nothing quite like being able to shop with someone who enjoys it as much as he does. Certainly he could go with Lyall but he knows Lyall isn't quite as passionate about this as he is.

And that's alright. Especially now that he has his new friend here.]

Were you hoping to get anything in particular today? There is a coat I saw the other day that would look quite fetching on you with the complexion you have.

[Sometimes he feels that it's a shame that Lance is so tanned. However, he will at least confess that he other wears it well.]

[And he as well can already tell this is going to be amazing. When's the last time he's gone shopping with someone who appreciates it like this, who can give suggestions right back to him, who's just as eager? Not since Earth, that's for sure. Not really since Cuba.]

Nothing really in particular, but in general I really could use a second pair of eyes and suggestions and stuff. I'm pretty good at picking out things for myself, but sometimes you need that second opinion, you know? Like-- I'm really down to check out that coat you mentioned!

[Another bright smile, and the two begin walking down the street to the aforementioned shop.]

[Of course he holds the door open for him. Perhaps his title back home would mean he deserves this instead but he's left that where he comes from. Only Lyall refers to him by title anyway when they're out and about.

So that means his friend gets the treatment instead as he steps inside after him, removing his hat and fixing his curls.]

You know, this place could serve to let us get a number of souvenirs and keepsakes.

[That's kind of him. Lance gives him a grateful smile as they walk into the shop.]

It could. Back home, I liked to take some kind of souvenir or memento from every planet we went to. Sure, it kinda started to clutter up my room, but... It was nice. Being able to see them and remember the good we've done.

What if you and I found a room on the Iskaulit? We could use that as a place to put souvenirs to remind us of places we've been to.

[Perhaps it might seem silly to some but honestly Biffy thinks it could be good for them. And it would be something he could share with his friend that would keep them both in good spirits.]

That sounds awesome, actually! Doesn't have to be anything mega fancy, but we can set up shelves and displays and stuff, and put things from different planets in there. I always like to have reminders of adventures. Even my room back home got cluttered with all the things I'd end up collecting.

[It really is a brilliant idea, and Biffy is brilliant for thinking it.]

I feel that this could easily be arranged. We could even take a look after we drop off our things from our shopping trip.

[Noticing a little trinket, he leans over to have a look at it. Closer inspection reveals it to be a box and lifts the lid to look inside.]

What a charming little box.

Sounds good. We don't need an enormous space, just enough for a few knickknacks from each planet we go to.

[He hums as he leans over to look at what Biffy is eyeing.]

Huh, what's that?

[dandyofawolf]

[He closes the box and then gives it a twist. As he does a moon appears as a little jewel.]

You see?

Oh!

[It's so beautiful. So small, yet even something as simple as a jewel seems intricate somehow.]

That's so pretty!

Isn't it? I'm tempted to purchase it but I'm not certain what I would use it for.

[He ponders a moment, running a gloved finger over the surface again.]

Perhaps I will come back to it.

Could be one of those things that's just nice to have. Or to give as a gift. I mean, depending on the price of course.

[A lot of things Lance has collected, and many things he's bought, don't really have much of a purpose but to look pretty. And that's fine by him.

He roams through the shop, perusing through knick knacks, seeing if any appeal to him or might be nice as a little gift to Keith.]

We have the night ahead for me to decide.

[Biffy does find a pin that he plans to give to Lyall though. Something simple but would look lovely in his cravat.]

By the way, I recall seeing some jars in the corner that you could store face creams in. Would you like to see if they're still there with me?

Oh! Definitely. I wouldn't mind having something that looks good to store those in. I mean, plastic bottles are handy and all, but when you're not actually moving them around and keeping them in your room, it's nice for beauty products to look pretty, containers too.

[A nod, and he follows Biffy along.]

Precisely.

[He looks about until he finds the colognes of the store (mostly with his nose) and he notices the empty jars on sale.]
