[When the broadcast starts there’s a bang and loud swearing, but no image. That’s because Manji has just landed on the communicator. He didn’t intend to turn it on. His voice has a bit strain to it.]

You know, I’m starting to think you’re making this into a habit. [There’s sudden swearing under his breath about the same time as a loud clang. It’s quickly followed by the sound of fighting and Manji shouting out in a bit of a panic.] W-wait a minute! Can’t you at least hand me my foot back first!?

You didn’t want me to hold back. [I mean honestly, Manji. You can’t have it both ways.]

Yeah, I know but-- OW I’m makin’ a mess all over here! [Also, he wants you to stop without sounding like a weakling. He doesn’t actually care about the mess.

His opponent doesn’t seem to care either way. There’s a whistling sound and the strike of steel against steel, but it’s a little slower than before. She’s going a little easier on him after all; something about grievous injury.]

I thought you said “I am always serious”. [The teasing tone in his voice is a very poor choice on Manji’s part. There’s a pause, and then a flurry of sound and another yelp.] GODDAMMIT!

...you have a long way to go. [She sounds so serene, like she’s lecturing a child.] We’ll try again next week.

WAIT! Where are you going? At least gimme back one of my legs! HEY!

[Yeah, no. Perish or something, Manji, she’s out.]

Women. [It’s grumbled out after Makie leaves.]

(OOC: Manji will be the main one responding to voice. But Makie can be reached by her own communicator so, if you want her, please specify that your character is speaking to Makie.)

The Iskaulit then? The surface? [Mildly concerned.]

The Iskaulit! [Manji hisses in pain.] Damn it! Frickn' hurts! [He snarls the words out angrily. Working at dragging himself over to one of his legs.]

Are you...? Did you really lose a foot? [More concern creeping into her voice.]

Did I--? [His voice is a mix between surprise and anger to start with. The surprise doesn't last long and soon he's just annoyed.] I didn't lose it! I'm not that sloppy! It's right over there!

[Because that's what she meant, right? She was mocking him for misplacing his leg. Nothing to do with it being chopped off.]

...What? [Is he seriously...?]

Over where? As in not attached to you? Do you need a doctor? Or seven?

Generally yes. When you have a leg chopped off then it's not attached anymore! [He grunts in pain for a moment.] No. No doctor. I'm fine. [Doctors ask too many questions.]

How are you fine? Your leg was chopped off! [Even for Logan that would be a concern. The one she knew did lose a hand permanently after all though there were some mitigating factors in that loss.]

Look. I just have to reattach them, alright? So unless you're close by to come hand them over just calm down. [Can't have someone worrying about him. That's so uncool!]

...Are they cybernetic? [That makes more sense to her except it doesn't fit Makie's world or the fact he said he was bleeding.] No... They just reattach? Like that?

Cyber... what? [His augment tries to provide him with an image of a robot limb, but even with his augment's help it's hard for him to fully realize as being something that can actual exist and work.] No, they don't just reattach like that. It takes the worms at least a little while to stitch the bones back together!

[He's not sure himself why he's so annoyed that she doesn't know how this works. He just is. Probably because he's in a lot of pain that his legs have been removed.]
