[When the broadcast starts there’s a bang and loud swearing, but no image. That’s because Manji has just landed on the communicator. He didn’t intend to turn it on. His voice has a bit strain to it.]

You know, I’m starting to think you’re making this into a habit. [There’s sudden swearing under his breath about the same time as a loud clang. It’s quickly followed by the sound of fighting and Manji shouting out in a bit of a panic.] W-wait a minute! Can’t you at least hand me my foot back first!?

You didn’t want me to hold back. [I mean honestly, Manji. You can’t have it both ways.]

Yeah, I know but-- OW I’m makin’ a mess all over here! [Also, he wants you to stop without sounding like a weakling. He doesn’t actually care about the mess.

His opponent doesn’t seem to care either way. There’s a whistling sound and the strike of steel against steel, but it’s a little slower than before. She’s going a little easier on him after all; something about grievous injury.]

I thought you said “I am always serious”. [The teasing tone in his voice is a very poor choice on Manji’s part. There’s a pause, and then a flurry of sound and another yelp.] GODDAMMIT!

...you have a long way to go. [She sounds so serene, like she’s lecturing a child.] We’ll try again next week.

WAIT! Where are you going? At least gimme back one of my legs! HEY!

[Yeah, no. Perish or something, Manji, she’s out.]

Women. [It’s grumbled out after Makie leaves.]

 

(OOC: Manji will be the main one responding to voice. But Makie can be reached by her own communicator so, if you want her, please specify that your character is speaking to Makie.)

It is how a sword is repaired as well. The pieces are placed together and the heat aids in reattaching them.

Yeah, except I don't use any heat. Just the worms. [Manji. Explain this stuff so you sound slightly less insane.]

Without knowing more of these worms it still seems much the same process.

Look, honestly, I don't know exactly how they work either. They just stitch me back together again and that's all that really matter.

[Because why would you need to know how your body works? It's not like you can then take better care of yourself or anything silly like that.]

Some would wish to know how they work so they could better know how to make sure they keep working.

I keep working just fine with what I already know. [Which is why it was so easy for that one guy to poison him.]

I wonder if you could learn more to have the worms bring your limbs to you instead.

How could they? They're worms. They can't carry something. [They shouldn't be able to reattach limbs either, now should they Manji?]

Worms also cannot sew limbs together again nor allow a body to live when inside it as they are with you.

Ye-- yeah well. [He fumbles for words.] They're special worms.

Special worms that perhaps you could train to bring your limbs back to you?

They don't survive for very long outside my body.

No? So they require you to live and you require them?

[canofmanji]

I wouldn't say that I require them. I was doing just fine without them. [You know. Miserable and dying.]

If you do not need them then why still have them?

Because I can't get ride of them. I never asked for them in the first place. Some old crone shoved them in without asking me.
