Who: Sara & you
Broadcast: Initially
Action: The Space Bar
When: At an appropriate hour for drinking
[ The broadcast opens and it's Sara behind the bar at the Space Bar. Her top is moderately low cut, her hair is down, she has a cowboy hat on and her tone is casual and inviting. ]
Hey, I'm Sara. I'm the new bartender at the Space Bar. I'm pretty new here overall and wouldn't mind meeting more people, so if you come over and tell me about yourself, I'll mix you up a custom drink, alcohol or no alcohol. Sound like a deal? Good.
[ The broadcast ends, and while she'll answer any calls, she probably does have patrons to serve, as well, so action is a better bet. When you arrive at the Space Bar, there she is! Ready to bartend for the evening while looking like a cowboy ]

[He thinks long and hard about his answer. As proud as Flug could be of his lot in life, there were certain times it was wiser to not praise controversial occupations in public; doing so in front of the person with the perfect leverage to poison your drink is one of them.]
"I sold weapons. Invented devices to solve problems, t-that sort of thing. Every world has those sorts of needs."

So you must be pretty smart.

[Oh so many! Why it's tempting to count them off right now!-- Ah, but that wouldn't be very non-villainous of him, would it now?]
"H-how about yourself?"
[..Did he really just ask her if she was smart?]
"N-not just a bartender? Before this, I mean."

"Hero, huh?"
[This. This is why he never talks to people outside of business. WHY did Atroma throw him on a ship full of superheroes?]
"That's.. r-really something. How does the timetraveling bit work?"
no subject
And I can't explain it to you. I inherited the ship from a Time Master.

[He laughs weakly. Yes because a Legend is so much less impressive than a mortal with abilities.]
"Does it dictate where you go? Your ship. Or is your heroism inspired by your own choosing?"

[Yes, people mucking up time, like that time he launched Demencia in the future and she conquered the place in no time flat (ha) only to be dragged home by him later, and after he had jumping through so many timelines to get there.]
"That. That must be frustrating. Probably more people messing with that stuff than you might expect."
[Like a whole lot of other scientists who are not him and would love to get their asses kicked instead! Flug glances to his communicator.]
"You know what, think I'll have to t-take a raincheck on this."

I went into this absolutely blind but this outcome was hilarious. Sorry Sara, you do not want this.
[And he's just going to very discretely as nonchalantly as possible try to peel himself off his seat and edge backwards towards the door.]
"But you know, duty calls. A-and all that."
[By some shape or miracle he doesn't bump into anyone, even as he barely looks in the direction he is leaving.]
"Maybe next time?"
it has been a joy
