[Mingle] SS Zoom incoming
Who: Anyone that wants to participate in this player plot! Or even react to it. Mingle at will~
Broadcast: If you want
Action: So much of it
When: August 8th
[The day is finally here! After lots of organization, the SS ships are ready to move at maximum speed. Are you coming with the pilots? Taking a shuttle? Staying in the Iskaulit? Judging everyone through the network? Choose your own adventure!
Testing how far and fast they can go is the top priority, leading them to discovery of the pac-man shuttles, the pac-man space walks, and the damage to some of the ships. The sound of those alarms sure is music to the ear.
Do not be disappointed at the lack of escaping. At least they're learning something. Besides, on the way back to the orbit of the Marsiva, they can... you know... race the hell out of the SS ships. Some minimal damage won't get in the way of fun.
Eat dirt, suckers!]

[It feels good to be able to fly so freely again, and at this speed. The Blameless isn't a fighting airship, and of course it isn't his lion either, but it's still a huge improvement over the shuttles.
And trying to defy Atroma feels good too, let's be honest here.
So his first priority for now, it's speed and distance. Going as quick and far as they can, away from their captors. Shiro's intensity on the pilot seat can be seen on his eyes and the tension of his voice - and that doesn't disappear when the alarms start ringing. He makes it know through the comms, too.]
The alarms mean we're onto something! We cannot be stopped right now!
[He thinks that's just a "prisoners are escaping" warning alarm. And he soon learns how wrong he is when the Blameless shakes and takes some damage - welp, it seems they've found the "borders". Thankfully Shiro is a skillful pilot, and he turns around in a smooth and quick move just in time before things get worse.]
Attention everyone, limitations have been confirmed! I repeat, limitations have been confirmed! Do not engage farther, it's dangerous!
B. Space walk.
[He "parks" the ship around a mile away from the edge, but this isn't over yet. He leaves the Blameless wearing his paladin suit and approaches the edge by space walking, with help of his jet pack. At first, he just tries touching the invisible barrier. Nothing. Like the shuttles then? He goes through and... yep. Appearing again on another section, just like pac-man.
With a sigh, he sends another message through the comms.] Space walking also proven to be ineffective.
[But he'll stay here if anyone else wants to try and investigate together!]
C. On their way back
[At least they discovered something, right? It wasn't a complete waste of time. Knowing there's a danger out there and how to (not) approach it is valuable information, especially if they ever get attacked again. It's good to know their limits. So Shiro tries to stay optimistic, especially when he, like some other pilots, are still going at full speed for the sake of it. The adrenaline is good for the soul, ok?
Which means the trip back soon becomes not just flying in line, but also trying to pass each other, and Shiro shows exactly how much he knows about flying by whirling, maneuvering among ships and just having a good time like a kid doing tricks on a bike.]
If they want a show, then let's give them on, Fleet! [He sounds smug. Can you keep up with him?]

[Keith was definitely up for a good race after that experience. It was a little disheartening that things could get that serious, but a distraction like a race back to the Marsiva was definitely in order now... something to get people feeling a little better.
Or, at least, some of the pilots.]

[How many times have they done this dance? Way too many. Will it ever be enough? Of course not!]
no subject
Alright, then... let's do this.
[He sounded excited. He wanted this... no, needed it.]

Eat space dust!]

[Keith kicked the engines to full, giving a good chase. He should have expected that, really, and he knew it, too. That just made it worse. For a second, Keith imagined them both back on the speeders in the desert, just racing over the terrain like it was nothing.]
no subject
[Because Keith isn't the only one thinking about speeders in the desert. How much did they tease each other back then? It's something they need to bring back more often, to take advantage of the lack of war in this place.
Shiro also kicks the engines to full and enters an asteroid belt when he sees it. Now the real fun begins.]
no subject
[Oh... an asteroid belt, huh? Keith smirked.
Bring. It. On.
Keith dove in, no fear, confident in his ability to fly the Huntress through. But, he knew Shiro's skills as well, and knew it was going to be a challenge to keep up and pass him. Challenge accepted.
One good thing, though, was that they hadn't had anyone ram the field from the outside before he started...]
