But that is how we propose! Anyone not interested avoids challenging us to personal combat for that very reason.

Well...to a point, yes. It would need to be treated more as a game than a proper battle- fighting until one of us yields or falls unconscious would be unwise.

Withdraw the challenge, and I will issue one of my own. It has been enough to avoid complications in the past, I see no reason it would not work again.

Very well. Then I challenge you to a friendly competition. The first to ten points wins the round, one point for each instance one of us knocks or throws the other to the deck. We would be fighting unarmed, of course.

[Less because she's concerned about any accidental maimings, terrible injuries build character after all, and more because she's reasonably convinced her hammer would end up damaging anything he brought with him. And that would just be rude.]

Two rounds should be enough for today. Is that an acceptable alternative?
