[ The feed opens up on a bed with one new passenger. Except she's asleep and turning on the bed, which really makes bad television. She mumbles something to herself and dozes right back off, at least for a few more minutes. But when she finally does rouse, she stretches and yawns. It should look very ladylike but she might have some drool dried at the corner of her mouth.

Except it becomes very apparent to her right away that this isn't where she should be. Allura flails and jumps from the bed. ]

What--where is this? Where am I!?

[ Has she been...taken captive? But by whom? She rounds the room, casting a suspicious eye to her surroundings. But something catches her eye which brings her closer to the camera... ]

[ action ★ ss tourist bridge ★ 08/12 ]

[ Well, that was sufficiently embarrassing. Allura grits her teeth as she marches out of the room she awoke in. HS Marsiva? To have anyone play host and keep an ever watchful, ever prying gaze is unsettling, to say the least. She also rather doesn't fancy being some sort of captive or wayward traveler. There is much left to accomplish where she should be.

Fists clenched at her sides, she marches onward to find a different deck. When one of the automatic doors slides open, she nearly collides with the person on the other side. She's angry.

And then suddenly no longer on the Marsiva. Enveloped in a pool of light, Allura feels herself move in and out of time in space in the span of a few seconds. What was once a corridor is now the bridge of an entirely different ship--

SS Tourist.

She should be happy about the confetti that comes with her arrival, but really.

Allura is unimpressed. ]

Quiznak, I am already very tired of this!

[ action ★ ss tourist kitchen ★ 08/15 ]

[ The past few days on the SS Tourist ave been enlightening in a number of ways, and frustrating in many others. She tries to keep herself in high spirits and take things one day at a time, but she has yet to make much progress in returning to the Castle.

Food is important, however, but Allura is unfamiliar with much of the cuisine on the ship. She kind of misses her food goo.

She squints as she leans forward to read some of the menu offerings. ]

..."PB Sandwich"? What is that?

"Not so bad", except for the fact that this takes us right out of our own timeline? What are the repercussions down the road? How long has this been going on?

[ Because it is very clear that, while she had been on the bridge with everyone only doboshes before, he is far more used to this place, implying much longer than a few doboshes or a sleep cycle. ]

That's a horrible invasion of privacy! What purpose does this serve?

[the_tailor]

I have nooooo idea. I've gotten sent home twice, and didn't remember this place back there. But then I came back and remembered everything from both worlds. So we can't take the knowledge from here back home.

[Which....really sucks. Especially for him, since there's more than knowledge he wants to bring back home.]

Entertainment, I guess. I mean, back on Earth, we had a ton of reality shows, so I'm not surprised space has a big one.

[princessences]

Twice?

[ That's...not good. Allura pinches her brows and rubs her temple. ]

...This is more convoluted than I could have realized.

[ This is very far out of her league. Where is Slav when you need him? ]

Are the participants on Earth also forced against their will?

[the_tailor]

I don't know how or why. There's no pattern to it. It just randomly happens to us sometimes.

[Shrug.]

Nah, they just want their ten seconds of fame. So they're a lot more harmless than this one, but I don't think the hosts have directly harmed us. The only danger we're in happens on some of the planets we end up landing on.

[princessences]

So we may leave these ships, but not on our own terms.

[ Yes, there is a lot to take in, here. ]

...I must say, Lance, your resilience is impressive.

[the_tailor]

[He perks up at that.]

Is that a compliment I hear from my princess?

[princessences]

It is only the truth. I have learned more from you in the past few doboshes than I might have research on my own.

[ So, alright, she will give him that. ]

Yes, it is a compliment.

[the_tailor]

Well, you know I'm always ready and willing to help you out, princess.

[Smile!]

And it is appreciated, I assure you.

On that note, is this show broadcast anywhere we have access to?

[the_tailor]

Awesome.

And unfortunately not. Trust me, I wanna make sure they're getting my good side. Which isn't hard, mind you, but still.

[princessences]

I was thinking more along the lines of being able to trace the source of the frequency...

[the_tailor]

If it was possible, I think someone would have already done it by now. I mean, there's definitely no harm in trying more, though.

[princessences]

Of course. It was presumptuous of me fo assume otherwise.

[the_tailor]

It's alright. More brains on the job is always a help, and you've got plenty of those.

[princessences]

Hopefully I will be an asset rather than a hindrance. But as it stands, it seems that as far as kidnapping scenario goes, this is...strangely accommodating.

[the_tailor]

It is. I've come to think of it as a weird sort of...vacation, I guess? Of course, we're keeping our abilities honed and all that jazz. But this place, I've found, gives us an opportunity to do things we couldn't do when we were fighting a war. Learn new things about ourselves and each other. Form friendships. Form...bonds.

[He looks a little sheepish at that one.]

There are things here that I really cherish.

[princessences]

[ Form bonds that we're afraid to break if we return, is what she wonders, but doesn't speak. She's far too new to pass judgment, though she is very...concerned about progressing things back home.

So there's a long pause, and then a small sigh. ]

I am glad that you have been well, Lance. And that this has been a...positive experience for you.

[the_tailor]

[Well, got that in one, most certainly.]

I hope that you'll be well here too, Allura, and I'll help you in any way to make that true. Gotta make the best of a situation, y'know?

[princessences]

I know that you will.

[ She would have never doubted that. ]
