[ The feed opens up on a bed with one new passenger. Except she's asleep and turning on the bed, which really makes bad television. She mumbles something to herself and dozes right back off, at least for a few more minutes. But when she finally does rouse, she stretches and yawns. It should look very ladylike but she might have some drool dried at the corner of her mouth.

Except it becomes very apparent to her right away that this isn't where she should be. Allura flails and jumps from the bed. ]

What--where is this? Where am I!?

[ Has she been...taken captive? But by whom? She rounds the room, casting a suspicious eye to her surroundings. But something catches her eye which brings her closer to the camera... ]

[ action ★ ss tourist bridge ★ 08/12 ]

[ Well, that was sufficiently embarrassing. Allura grits her teeth as she marches out of the room she awoke in. HS Marsiva? To have anyone play host and keep an ever watchful, ever prying gaze is unsettling, to say the least. She also rather doesn't fancy being some sort of captive or wayward traveler. There is much left to accomplish where she should be.

Fists clenched at her sides, she marches onward to find a different deck. When one of the automatic doors slides open, she nearly collides with the person on the other side. She's angry.

And then suddenly no longer on the Marsiva. Enveloped in a pool of light, Allura feels herself move in and out of time in space in the span of a few seconds. What was once a corridor is now the bridge of an entirely different ship--

SS Tourist.

She should be happy about the confetti that comes with her arrival, but really.

Allura is unimpressed. ]

Quiznak, I am already very tired of this!

[ action ★ ss tourist kitchen ★ 08/15 ]

[ The past few days on the SS Tourist ave been enlightening in a number of ways, and frustrating in many others. She tries to keep herself in high spirits and take things one day at a time, but she has yet to make much progress in returning to the Castle.

Food is important, however, but Allura is unfamiliar with much of the cuisine on the ship. She kind of misses her food goo.

She squints as she leans forward to read some of the menu offerings. ]

..."PB Sandwich"? What is that?

I was hoping that someone more knowledgable than myself might help me better understand the mechanics. My own experience was accidental at best and it seems this is no different in that sense.

[aspearing]

Can you tell me more? I may be able to help you if I know more about it.

[princessences]

I would hate to lead you astray with my own limited understanding...but there are an infinite number of parallel universes in the larger multiverse. I have only known it as a theory until my teammates and I followed a distress signal that brought us through a rift between our universe and another. This new reality followed many of the same natural laws that we are familiar with, but history itself was very different.

[aspearing]

... I see. With as many versions of earth as I've heard about, it makes sense. Still, even after hearing about it, it's almost difficult to believe that it does exist...

[ Back at home, they didn't even have the technology for ships to sail to other continents. Sometimes, some of the things she sees still makes her feel like this is a dream. ]

Did your teammates arrive with you, as well?

[princessences]

I'm of the same mind--even experiencing an alternate universe, the reality of it is difficult to grasp. Time seems so linear from our perspective.

[ Clearly their captures have taken advantage of that. ]

In the rift? We all entered together. Here, however, I appear to be lagging behind.

[aspearing]

... Lagging behind? Then, I take it that you arrived here after they did? [ A beat. ] I was in the same situation as you were when I first arrived.

[princessences]

Yes, they have been here for quite a while, as it sounds.

[ But...she can relate? ]

Oh? I hate to say that that brings me some comfort, but...

[aspearing]

No, it's quite alright if it does. [ All the more reason for them to talk about it. ] Many of my friends were here when I first arrived. Not only that, but they've all come from different times.

[ There was so much to take in. ]

[princessences]

[ Oh.

Allura may not realize it yet, but they can relate much more than she anticipated. ]

Different times? How...?

[aspearing]

From what I've heard, time somehow flows oddly here. What's more strange is that when we leave, little to no time has passed back at our respective home. [ She pauses. ] ... I apologize, I'm not entirely certain why.

[princessences]

This is far more convoluted than I imagined...

[ What does this mean in regards to their mission? Their efforts?

Allura shakes her head. ]

Oh, no, you have nothing to apologize for. This is very helpful information, even if I'm not sure what to do with it yet.

[aspearing]

To be honest with you, I'm still unsure myself. Though, it's more than enough right now if I can help others adjust to their situation with telling them what I know.

[princessences]

This is a very...unique situation, so doubt is understandable. But that you are willing to come forth despite this is a testament to your character. I appreciate it.

[aspearing]

[ She pauses at that before shaking her head. ]

This much is the least I can do. Though, I admit that it's a little jarring when I was capable of doing much more at home.

[princessences]

Yes...that we're completely cut off from our world is very frustrating, to say the least.

[aspearing]

Unfortunately, those who kidnapped you are likely at fault for that.

[princessences]

I believe that they are. I do wish there would be a conceivable way to reach them.

[aspearing]

I believe that some day-- they'll reach out to us. ... But until then, I agree that it's frustrating to be as limited as we are.

[princessences]

Do you? I certainly hope that you're right.

[aspearing]

... I do, too.
