[ The feed opens up on a bed with one new passenger. Except she's asleep and turning on the bed, which really makes bad television. She mumbles something to herself and dozes right back off, at least for a few more minutes. But when she finally does rouse, she stretches and yawns. It should look very ladylike but she might have some drool dried at the corner of her mouth.

Except it becomes very apparent to her right away that this isn't where she should be. Allura flails and jumps from the bed. ]

What--where is this? Where am I!?

[ Has she been...taken captive? But by whom? She rounds the room, casting a suspicious eye to her surroundings. But something catches her eye which brings her closer to the camera... ]

[ action ★ ss tourist bridge ★ 08/12 ]

[ Well, that was sufficiently embarrassing. Allura grits her teeth as she marches out of the room she awoke in. HS Marsiva? To have anyone play host and keep an ever watchful, ever prying gaze is unsettling, to say the least. She also rather doesn't fancy being some sort of captive or wayward traveler. There is much left to accomplish where she should be.

Fists clenched at her sides, she marches onward to find a different deck. When one of the automatic doors slides open, she nearly collides with the person on the other side. She's angry.

And then suddenly no longer on the Marsiva. Enveloped in a pool of light, Allura feels herself move in and out of time in space in the span of a few seconds. What was once a corridor is now the bridge of an entirely different ship--

SS Tourist.

She should be happy about the confetti that comes with her arrival, but really.

Allura is unimpressed. ]

Quiznak, I am already very tired of this!

[ The past few days on the SS Tourist ave been enlightening in a number of ways, and frustrating in many others. She tries to keep herself in high spirits and take things one day at a time, but she has yet to make much progress in returning to the Castle.

Food is important, however, but Allura is unfamiliar with much of the cuisine on the ship. She kind of misses her food goo.

She squints as she leans forward to read some of the menu offerings. ]

..."PB Sandwich"? What is that?

[No one is obligated to be happy about the confetti. It's abduction confetti.

Chekov, fully prepared to give the new arrival a friendly greeting (hopefully one that might convince them to stay on the ship, it's so lonely here), is rather thrown off by her reaction.]

Er... hello.

[ Abduction confetti. Perfect. That's exactly how she feels. No fanfare can make up for this.

It's nothing personal, really. Allura has no idea that one normally has at least a movement or so to get used to the situation before being assigned to a ship and given a role. Nope, she's just lucky.

Which is why poor Chekov is getting a less than pleasant response. ]

Where is this. now? Is this the "Atroma" again?

[candothat]

[This is not quite how he generally expects these encounters to go, but he isn't deterred.]

This is the Tourist, where the Atroma have decided you will be staying [A vague gesture that encompasses the whole of the confetti-strewn bridge.] Usually it's slightly tidier.

[princessences]

[ Just as she suspected--whoever these "Atroma" were, they were quickly settling at the top of her shit list. ]

The Tourist?

[ So, another ship? Her frown lessens, albeit slightly, as she takes a look around. ]

...It's so small.

[ Don't judge, Allura. ]

[candothat]

[He looks around as well. Just to see if this is an accurate assessment, y'know.]

Compared to other space vessels, yes, I suppose so.

You are used to larger ships?

[princessences]

Quite a bit.

[ Granted she's flown much smaller crafts as necessary, but her flagship was meant to hold a decent number of people.

She sighs. ]

I apologize. I realize you have nothing to do with the situation at hand.

[ Time to be polite. ]

I am Princess Allura of Altea. It's a pleasure to meet you and your...ship.

[candothat]

No need to apologize, I understand. Being abducted into another universe and given unsatisfactory accommodations is very disappointing.

[One of those alone? Totally bearable.]

I'm Pavel Andreievich Chekov, and it's good to meet you as well, Princess Allura. ...Or do you prefer to be called by your title?

[princessences]

[ At least he seems to understand. Allura nods. ]

Whatever you feel comfortable with. "Allura" is fine as well.

[ She steps forward to take a better look around. ]

How many are on this ship?

[candothat]

Allura, thank you. [Much easier than Princess Allura of Altea.]

Other than you and I? Captain Kirk, Daryl, and Anders, who is currently in a coma. That happens with some frequency--comas in general, I mean, not Anders being in a coma specifically. Also four cats.

[princessences]

So...three--now, four active members.

[ Other than this Anders who is unfortunately indisposed. Not a large crew by any means, but she's worked with less.

And...cats. Okay. She had mice before, so no judging. ]

So not many. Where is the Captain? I feel I should introduce myself.

[candothat]

Three active members. The captain is... ah, not entirely himself.

[princessences]

[ ...So one member in a coma and a captain that's MIA? Or...off? ]

What do you mean?

[candothat]

He's a teenager currently. I'm certain it will only be temporary!

[This ship is a mess, h e l p].

[princessences]

[ Yes.

[ Welp. Welcome to the Tourist, Allura. ]

Then I suppose you are the only one working right now.

[candothat]

Daryl as well.

[He assumes. Daryl can be an elusive creature.]

But I'm very capable of operating the ship alone, this is fine.

Well, since I am here now, how can I be of assistance, Pavel?

Provided nothing unusually terrible happens and the captain stays out of trouble, [two fairly large asks] nothing needs to be done urgently.

[Besides cleaning up the confetti. Thanks, Atroma.]

It's--

[ Augment? Yet, somehow, she instinctively knows. ]

--pilot. I can pilot this ship.

[He brightens.]

Perfect! If anything should happen, that's a good augment to have. ...Not that anything will happen.

[There have only been, like, three major disasters in the last year. Odds are good that they'll be fine.]

I am sorry that you have come aboard at such a... er, interesting time.

[ Not that anything will happen... ]

I think I've had quite enough "happenings" for one light cycle.

[ Major disasters would be very unwelcome. ]

I'm not sure I can say I had anything to expect otherwise, but...thank you. This place has proven to be full of surprises.

[candothat]

I hope that a light cycle isn't a very long period of time.

[Or else Allura's going to be disappointed with a lot more happenings.]

Not all of the surprises will be bad. The Atroma are always awful, but most people in the fleet are friendly [by Pavel's definition of 'friendly,' which tends to be more generous than most] and some of the systems that we visit are pleasant.

[princessences]

I'm not sure what it's supposed to be here. Normally I would assume around ten to twelve vargas.

[ Which makes perfect sense, doesn't it? ]

That is nice to hear, I suppose.

[ Though the way she exhales sharply through her nose indicates she may need some time to get used to the idea. ]

As this ship been on autopilot, then?

I should have guessed that.

[Yeah, he still has no idea, but Allura has obviously had A Day and doesn't need to be quizzed on units of measurement.]

It has been, yes. The ships follow the Marsiva if no one pilots them... and they come back to the Marsiva if they're piloted away, I believe.

[princessences]

I see...

[ She steps further onto the bridge, looking over the controls. It's strange that they look so foreign and yet she knows exactly how to approach them. ]

Does that mean we may go where we wish, now?

[candothat]

To an extent. It seems unlikely that the Atroma would let us go too far, and even if they did... I don't know where any of us would try to go.
