[The video starts with the camera actually falling. There's some chaos and then the sound of a canine yelping. Everything goes dark like cloth fell on it before you can see again that it's...Biffy's salon? The device has been shifted enough to reveal a wolf trying hard to free itself from what looks like the remains of a suit.

When it sees the device on, it scrambles over and...the recording ends.]

Iskaulit - First day of glitch (Closed to Lyall)

[It's been literally years since Biffy last found he couldn't control his changes. For that reason, he's understandably distressed when he suddenly finds himself changed into a wolf. Quite forcibly! It takes him some time to at least free himself from his clothes enough that he can walk normally, even if it means the remains of what are left still cling to him.

So now he's darting around the Iskaulit with his communicator in his mouth since he really has nowhere else to put it. Which means there's now a distressed chocolate colored (with a delightful red colored marking like a cravat on his chest) wolf wearing torn up clothes running around. This is his first glitch that he's gone through so he's not used to it!]

Iskaulit or Blameless - Rest of the glitch period

[Well, he's stuck like this. After the first day of stress now he's just resigned to the fact that he's stuck like this until this place will let him change. So usually he can be found on the Blameless or the Iskaulit. Just wandering mostly to get the energy out of his system since he can't open up his shop while he's like this.

But really it's just him moping. Flopped about looking depressed.

Want to try to cheer up the sad wolf?]

_{[ Teenage Kirk was becoming more and more unimpressed with this whole fleet set up by the day. Unimpressed, and worried. He didn't want to let it on though. He was a man! He wasn't going to be scared. He distracted himself with the amusements of the Iskaulit, few as they were, but they were between than the dry season in Iowa or a detention cell, so - take what you could get, right?

There's someone new on the Iskaulit today though. His eyes light up when he sees the very large dog, though did it seem... sad? Was it lost too? Kirk began to approach, smiling at the dog ( because he was not going to guess wolf right off, why would there be wolves in space?). ]}

Hey big guy. You're looking kind of lonely.

[Biffy's yellow eyes open to look at Kirk. Who he sees is still a little boy. Well in that case he supposes he can't let himself be too moody. Not only does Kirk currently have no idea what is going on but he is literally a child presently.

So he watches him, relaxed where he's laying down presently. Mostly as a sign that he doesn't mind if the boy approaches him. He doesn't want to startle him, after all. A little boy has enough to deal with here without a wolf growling at him.]

_{[ Seeing the dog didn’t seem to mind his presence, he came closer and
settled down beside Biffy. He held out his hand for the other to sniff.
]}

You all alone, boy? Or you hiding out?

[Typically he'd be very against anyone touching him because he is not a dog. However, Kirk really isn't going to know better. Besides that this is already stressful enough on a young teen.

So he lets out a huff before deciding to just give in and noses the hand. Fine. He can pet him.]

[The very second he sees this on his feed Lyall is out of his seat on his way to the station where he can be beamed to the Iskaulit.

It's not full moon, at least not that they have calculated. And he himself is fine.

Small saving grace, it doesn't sound like Biffy is going berserk, but he's still going to rush to the salon, and once he's there quickly come in and close the door.

To find his Alpha stuck in the middle of ripped fabric. Well, that has to be extremely distressing, wolf change notwithstanding. This was a lovely outfit.]

Biffy... are you alright?

[he comes closer to start extricating his Alpha from the clothing mess.]

[Biffy has his device in his mouth, has just been about to run out, when Lyall shows up. He looks distressed still but he stops flailing about so that way his Beta can help him out of his clothes. Immediately afterward he starts to groom himself so his fur will lay flat and not look ridiculous.

He lets out a low huff that says he's somehow fine but not enjoying this. He's trying to change back and...nothing!]

[Lyall can guess that is Biffy isn't changing back, it's because he physically can't. But that in itself is worrying. he is long pas the stage where this should be happening, so clearly something else is at play is.

He busies himself with extracting all personal items form the pockets of the ripped outfit while keeping an eye on Biffy grooming himself.

When he's done, he comes to kneel in front of the wolf and gently puts his arm around his neck, bringing him into a hug.]

[Biffy is grateful for the embrace. Closing his yellow eyes, he leans into it. What is going on? What is happening to him?

It is honestly so easy to forget about the glitches in moments like this, his mind just wanting to focus on the arms around him. Because Lyall understands what this means for him. Why it makes him feel this way.

Sighing, he nuzzles Lyall's face with his own.]

[Lyall smoothes his fingers through Biffy's fur, scratching him behind the ears, and pressing his face into the nuzzles.]

Let's get you back to the Blameless, shall we? I will close up here and put a note on the door.

[Because who knows how long this will last?]

[Lyall gets a lick to his face to let him know he's grateful. It's most inconvenient to be without hands but he knows he'll have to make this work.

Getting up, he shakes himself out then fixes his fur one more time before trotting alongside Lyall. He doesn't check to see what he writes for the door because he trusts him to do it right. His Beta is very reliable, after all.

By the time they're back on the Blameless, he is sniffing the air in the hopes of them avoiding people. Right now he just wants to go to their room and flop onto the bed. People he can deal with later.]

[Lyall knows Biffy will want to avoid people for the time being, and eh would't want anyone else to freak out either, so he'll use his nose to navigate the corridors and take them to the bedroom they now share, and quickly close the door behind them.]

I don't suppose you know why this is happening.

[Of course he politely wipes his feet on a rug he's placed in the room before jumping onto the bed. Flopping down dramatically, largely because he knows he doesn't have to impress Lyall, he sighs. Thinking about it, he considers what could be causing this. He should be able to change back. He shouldn't just be...stuck. So why...?

He remembers Kirk then and lifts his head. Looking to Lyall, he nods at him. Yes. Yes, he knows why this is happening.]

[Oh. He does. Except he can't explain right now. How convenient.]

I see. Well, I will have to wait for that explanation I am afraid. In the meantime, let's make sure you are comfortable.

[He comes to sit on the bed, petting the large wolf's head gently.]

Are you going to be alright?

[Flopping his head down onto Lyall's leg, he closes his eyes to enjoy the attention. Which makes it remarkably difficult to respond to Lyall with a nod. So he settles for nuzzling against his stomach instead.

Yes. He'll be fine. Somehow. Right now he just wants to demand attention.]

[Okay, that tickles, and Lyall squirms a little bit before settling down.

Yes, someone definitely wants attention and he is happy to give it, scritching Biffy's forehead and ears and cheeks.]

[So he might be upset that he's trapped like this until he can finally change back. But, that's not going to stop Biffy from noticing that Lyall squirmed at the nuzzle.

Which means he does it again. Does it really tickle? He'll soon find out.]

[Another squirm, and Lyall will give his Alpha a Look, because really, Biffy?

And yet he doesn't protest too much because at least you're distracted from your plight while you're teasing him.

[He lets out a noise that is more of a huff but probably is something like a laugh. And his tail wags. Once.

Just once.

He wants to have some dignity to his name.]

[He saw that tail wag, Biffy.]

Cheeky pup.

[As usual, the words have none of the bite that Lyall is capable of putting in his voice when truly rebuking someone. Not when it's Biffy and not when it's something that can get him out of being depressed.]

[He noses against his cheek. He knows he's cheeky but he also knows Lyall loves that about him. If he didn't he wouldn't tease him like this.

Okay maybe his tail wags one more time. But only that one more time, alright.]

[Lyall smiles, and then actually goes and kisses the tip of Biffy's nose. Because it's only fair, right?

You are entirely too happy to be distracted, Biffy.]

[This is a lot better than dwelling on the fact that he's stuck like this. Lyall helps him feel relaxed and less...trapped. He's come to not hate his wolf form but that hardly means he wants to be stuck in it. Having his Beta here to distract him helps.

Though he finds the kiss feels odd in this form. Likely because his nose is shaped so different. Shaking his head, he looks at him and then gives him a tiny lick back.

It's the only way he can kiss him right now.]

[That's fine, he'll take the licking, Biffy. And then give you another kiss for good measure, this time on your forehead, and hug you again.]

I think we will need to inform the rest of the crew so no one panics when seeing you like that.

[That's a fair point. They will know of this form from the full moon periods. However, he tends to prefer not to wander around like this the rest of the time.

He nods but the plops his head down onto Lyall's lap for a very clear message. Later.]

_{[ Kirk visibly brightens, gently running his hand along Buffy’s ruff
and to his neck, stroking. The fur is much softer than he expected, and he
scooted closer. ]}

You wouldn’t happen to know why we’re here, would you boy?

_{[ He glanced down, but clearly didn’t expect an answer as he sighed,
putting on a teenage pout. ]}

I’ve always wanted to go out into space, but I thought I’d at least, you know, get to fly the ship or something.
