Broadcast: Yes
Action: Huntress, Blameless, or Iskaulit
When: starting August 17 and through the rest of the month

VIDEO
[The feed was a little shaky as Keith got settled. His voice was a little quiet for a moment.]
...how these happened so close together...
[He was definitely muttering to himself. The picture spun until it was facing him. He looked different. Tired, a little bruised up, older... he'd visibly aged further than Lance, Pidge, or Shiro. His hair was longer and even more grown out than before, and, when he turned to face the camera for real, there was a large burn scar along the right side of his face.]
Hey... just letting everyone know I'm back, I guess. It's weird how close this happened this time. But, yeah. In case you guys were wondering...
Oh, and, uh... thanks to whoever looked after Snow while I was gone. I appreciate it.
[And with that, he clicked off.]
=====
ACTION
[Keith could be found around the Huntress, the Iskaulit, or the Blameless. There might be a stop or two to the Bishop and the Tourist as well to check up on Pidge and Allura respectively. In person, he was a bit taller, and his shoulders were wider. Guess who's jacket didn't fit him anymore. His shirts were all a bit tight across the top now, too. He was going to need some new clothes when they get to the next system.]
=====
{OOC: Keith is back! Unlike his buddies, returning home dumped him into a quantum abyss that caused him to age two years faster than anyone else on the team. Once he got back from that trip to the team, he fought Shiro, and the two of them are pretty beat up because of it (hence Keith's new facial scar).}

Kaname listens to his explanation: it's a lot longer than she expects. Her brows shoot up when he mentions his mother and the two years passing (though it's immediately noticeable to her). When he's finished, Kaname nudges him a little and leans on his shoulder in a show of friendship.]
I didn't say it yet, but I'm glad you're back if you couldn't tell. When you're more settled in again, we should get lunch. It's been too long since the two of us have done anything.

Yeah. [He agreed.] I'd like that a lot, Kaname. It's good to see you again. And, yeah... as weird and frustrating as this place can be, I'm actually glad to be back. There are things I have here that I don't back home. And what we're doing back home, that's important, but, each time I've come back, it's been to good things... Mostly. [There was the time he'd been robbed of his moment to ask his mom questions last time he'd come back, but now he'd gotten that chance, so it wasn't so bad anymore.]
I know it was a lot to take in. So, um... if there's anything you want to know about specifically... [The only thing that was really going to be hard was the fight with Shiro.]

[Kaname glances at him, a little curious about that. He's never been so forthcoming before. It's not a bad thing, though, and she has a small smile.]
You don't mind?
no subject
No... I guess not really. Not all of it's great, but I consider you a friend, so I feel like it's okay to give you the chance to ask.
no subject
In that case, tell me about your mom.

[Keith leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees and clasping his hands between them.]
Her name is Krolia. She's Galra, and part of the Blade of Marmora. That's where I got my blade from. She left it with my dad for him to give it to me when I got older.
Growing up, I had always thought she had just left. Dad never got the chance to tell me the truth. He was probably waiting for me to be old enough to understand, but he was a fireman, and died on the job. In some ways, I guess I can be a lot like him. He was determined to clear the building, and everyone told him not to go back in. Mom said she wasn't surprised when I told her.
I was able to find out everything, though. She wanted to stay with us, but she felt she had to leave to make sure the Galra didn't attack Earth. She left to protect me and Dad.
