Who: Prince Lotor
Broadcast: Yes
Action: Absolutely
When: Saturday, 18 August

[Broadcast - Video ]

[ He's aware of something wrong even before his eyes open.

Lotor's long form barely fits on the bed provided, so much so that when he wakes up with a snap, he bends the arched metal at the end of the frame with his boots. The room smells different, the air tinted with a strange sour quality that spoke neither of the familiar filters on Galra ships nor the more exquisite processes that the Castle of Lions boasted; and as his eyes adjust to the bright lights the architecture speaks of nothing he's seen before.

Strange.

He stands slowly, looking around the entirely empty wing. Good fortune or not, he seems to be the only person here - where ever here is. The last thing he remembers is returning to the Castle, Allura's hand in his, and then nothing.

Ah, there is a camera. He's being observed.

There is no point in secrecy now is there? Either someone was monitoring him or not, and he straightens his back as he addresses the camera.]

I give you credit, I have not been taking off guard like this in quite some time. Identify yourself.

[Action - S.S. Starstruck]

[ He had hardly been on the hospitality deck for a few hours before he finds himself appearing on the bridge of the S.S. Starstruck, face crinkled up in an unpleasant expression as a flurry of badly made confetti tangles in his hair and falls to his shoulders. In his hands rests a plate, and he looks down at it with a frown punctuated with a fang pressed into his bottom lip.

Ah, but he is not alone.

Across from him is one of his supposed 'new crewmates', and those eyebrows arch now, and he offers the plate out, the tone of his voice sardonic. ]

I do not imagine that you ordered this, did you?

[Private communication - Video: Allura]

[The shuttle seemed the most promising place to pick through the databanks the vessel held.

It was small; all exits and entrances visible, and it gave him the privacy of not having any of his new crew mates hovering over his shoulder. Lotor rests his chin in one hand, tapping his lips with a claw as his eyes scan through the crew logs of the fleet.

Ah, most of the paladins were here as well, crowded on one ship. And then Allura's name comes up, and he allows himself a small smile as he opens his communicator. Regaining contact with his allies was paramount... but this was personal. ]

I hate to sound pleased to find you here as well, but I will not deny that it's a relief to see a familiar face, princess.

[There's a noise that's quite suspiciously close to a growl of frustration.]

Fine. I'll just say this. Most of us know about what happened to your Altean colony. So either you stop keeping secrets from us, or you stay the hell away from me and my friends.

Pidge! Wait! He doesn't know we know! Don't say anything about that, yet!

So what?! Life here will be a lot easier if he just stays the hell away from us!

I know... but hear me out, okay? He seems to be from a different point in time, and he thinks that you guys still think he's an ally. [Or, well, he did. Keith wasn't sure right now.] With Haggar here, we might be able to use that to our advantage.

I don't like it, either, but we have to move carefully. [After all, last time they confronted him, a lot went wrong, and it ended up with Keith and Shiro nearly killing each other. He wanted to avoid something like that happening again.]

[A huff, and then a pause while Pidge considers this. Tactically speaking, she knows he's probably right. But all of the emotion from having just fought him, having just made it out of the quintessence field with what barely felt like victory, is all still fresh on her mind.]

...You've made a good point, but I hate it. After everything that happened, you really want us to just pretend like he didn't nearly kill all of us single-handedly? It's not gonna be easy, and that's putting it really lightly.

I know, Pidge. I know.

[Keith was still feeling the bruises to prove it. Of course, with her having already mentioned the colony, he was going to have to be careful. After all, just knowing about the colony was one thing, but they hadn't mentioned the moon facility where the drained Alteans were being kept in cryopods.]

He's going to be wary around us now that knows we know about the colony, but we can't tell him about Romelle. We don't have to be nice to him, but it's like with Haggar. We can't provoke him. We don't know what he'll try to do here. And we don't have Voltron to stop him.

[There's an extended pause, largely by virtue of the fact that Keith has (fortunately) intervened. So when Pidge returns to this conversation she seems slightly calmer, though the venom in her voice is still clearly present.]

Whatever. But if you keep secrets like that from us again, you're not gonna like what happens.

[And she means it. Though the Green Paladin be little, she be fierce.]
