[The Lance on the screen looks physically a lot better than last time, but his expression still isn't exactly positive. This time, he looks more exasperated than anything.]

Okay, I can weirdly enough sort of accept weird-ass glitches in the matrix that make us end up having superpowers or into a merman or suddenly a kid. But I seriously don't get this at all.

[Above his head pops a little thought bubble. Inside, this: . He gestures up at it.]

Am I the only one seeing this? Because it looks like there's stuff floating over my quiznaking head! Even for weird stuff happening around here, this is just extra bananas.

[There's a pause where he absently rubs his stomach. Above his head, ]

Anyone else suffering from sudden picture bubble syndrome?



[B - Elsewhere]

[Free for all! Go ahead and feel free to run into him on the Huntress, Iskaulit, visiting your ship, whatever. Marvel at the poor boy's glitch.]




[ooc: SOOO basically, Lance's glitch is that he has Sims-style thought bubbles over his head. As such, people will be able to see what he's thinking and feeling at pretty much any given time. Have fun with that. All pictures posted will be in said bubbles.]

[Shiro, who is now "wearing" an adorable pair of white canine ears on his head, would rather avoid questions about his own glitch and use voice. But video is necessary to look at Lance's little problem, so he has no other choice.]

Wilting flower? Huh...maybe...I'm the flower, and wilting because this makes no sense? I dunno. Symbolism.

[fortunately or unfortunately for Lance, he runs into Ben after he's just woken up from an abrupt nap - one that's left him still half-awake as he stumbles into the Huntress' kitchen for something with a lot of caffeine. He grunts a greeting as he passes and misses the thought bubbles at first -

Until he's halfway through fumbling with the drink machine and pauses, turning around to squint]

You got . . . um. Things. [he makes a gesture]

[Lance has been in the kitchen for a few minutes, absently rummaging around the fridge. The thought bubble above his head contains as he fiddles through, but a voice grabs his attention and he looks over.]

Oh. Yeeeeeeah... So I've figured out by now.

[privateeyed]

[he opens his mouth to respond and cuts off with a yawn, scratching at his cheek] Mmph. 'Kay, 'least you know. Why you a walkin' emoticon dispenser, then?

[Yes, this is the part she's going to find weird. Just audibly though. The whole thing is odd even for her and she's seen a lot of odd.

Kitty is also glitched, but it's her powers having opposite day. What's the opposite of being intangible you might ask? Being more solid of course. What does that mean? Apparently she can make herself denser—stronger, invulnerable, weirdly heavy. It's not exactly visible though so she just looks like her normal self.]

Quiznaking. It's, uh, an Altean curse word. It's really fun to say, actually!

.... I must say that I have never seen anything of the kind. Do they happen to reflect your state of mind accurately?

I think, yeah, at least from what I've gathered so far. Hey, could you help me test something? I want to know what happens if I think of a certain person.

I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, though. Sometimes you don't want people to see into your head. I mean. More than sometimes. It could cause problems.

B - The Lion's Den!

[pidge_out]

[Pidge is actually just leaving. She'd come into the shared space just to get away from the Bishop for a little while, let her brain go quiet, ignore the awful pang of knowing there's nothing she can do to be more productive for home. It worked for a little while, but then the usual buzzing of activity started up in her mind again and Pidge decided it was time to leave.

And of course, as she does so, she slams right into Lance. She must not have been looking where she was going, and it's entirely likely the tall boy just didn't even see her. But as it stands Pidge blinks up at him, eyes widening slightly like she's realized she's been caught doing something wrong, and then quickly takes a large step back with a frown.]

Sorry. [She's tense, her voice is tight, and she's already halfway to just stepping around him and continuing on her way out.]

[Lance as well has always seen the Lion's Den as a place to get away from everything and just relax for a little while. The traffic was obviously much less than anywhere else aside from his own room, as it was.

Lost in his own thoughts, he collides with what he soon realizes is the youngest paladin.

[Pidge raises an eyebrow when she sees that weird... bubble... image... thing appear over his head. A guy in a paper bag mask? What the hell does that even mean?]

It's fine. [She shrugs one shoulder, sidestepping to give Lance room, awkwardly edging toward the exit.]

Do you... Am I actually seeing a picture floating over your head right now?

B - Iskaulit

[ Allura has been doing her best to keep to herself. As if things couldn't get worse, right? Facing off Lotor right now would just be...awful. But as scarce as she tries to make herself, Allura can't always be so lucky.

She's keeping low, slightly hunched as she comes around the corner and nearly collides. ]

[ Oh. Oh dear.

Her hair is down, which she quickly smooths as much as possible around her head. Weird. ]

[That sure was a near collision with the princess. He gives a sheepish smile at her.]

Sorry, princess, didn't mean to almost crash into you. What's up?

[ Her own mortification is shoved to the side for just a moment. Allura frowns slightly. ]
