[ Generally speaking Daryl doesn't do broadcasts, if at all avoidable. He's not the chatty type, and he doesn't trust the prospect of an audience.

But everyone's got their limits, and he needs answers. ]

This ship broken or what?

[ He doesn't appear upside-down... except that above him is the floor of his room on the Tourist, and his hair's kind of... floating. So, okay, he's just holding the camera the right way while hanging somewhere near the ceiling.

It's unnerving, which means he looks pretty ticked off. ]

Augment glitches can't be fixed, and I think that is what this is since the rest of the ship is unaffected. I shouldn't last long. A week, maybe two.

After a moment and a bit of struggling he manages to get his door open, from his upside-down floating position. Of course the force he expends bounces him back once he does.

[ when your life becomes a dumb sci-fi movie, dumb sci-fi tropes seem like the right answer. Are those not a thing? They seem like they should be a thing. For just this reason. Hell, if they're not a thing, Chekov should get on inventing them. ]

Admittedly the slow rotation of his zero gravity perch and the way his hair floats around his face probably spoils the unnerving effect. ]

[Since he's probably going to laugh and get himself murdered if he continues to try being helpful, Pavel sighs a long-suffering sigh and makes his exit.

Daryl will, however, find an actual, real, not-made-of-protein-bars-or-goo sandwich and a partial bottle of whiskey by his door later that day.]
