[Manji instantly knew something was funny when he woke up swimming in his clothes. No, he's not a child. He's just been miniaturized.] The hell-!? [His voice even has that high pitched, squeaking sound as if he inhaled a bunch of helium to it. He needs a drink. So he goes to the space bar and finds he's too short to reach the counter. So instead he works on jumping and pulling himself up onto the stool that suddenly feels like it was made for a giant.

He looks thoroughly unimpressed as he speaks into the communicator.] Seen a bunch of weird shit happening lately. [No, he's not going to say anything about his stupid sounding voice. Doing his best to act like it was normal.] These things usually only last about a week? Right?

[Find the tiny man who likely won't come up to your knee just about anywhere on the Iskaulit. Careful not to step on him. Or find him after he's tried to tie giant pieces of wood to his feet and does his best to walk around on them. How to women make this look so easy?]

[Usually only people who are the tantou are smaller than he is. So to see Manji this size is rather amazing actually. Kogarasumaru walks up to him then leans forward with a finger on his chin. However, he doesn't comment on the height. Instead he'll comment on the...makeshift...stilts?]

That is not how you walk on those.

[He should know. He's really good at stilts.]

[Seeing Kogarasumaru is something Manji usually enjoys. Something familiar in a world of strangeness. That is not how he feels today when he sees he no longer can 'tower' over him. It just reminds him of how much he has shrank and how frustrating this whole situation is.]

[He angrily spits the words out in his high pitched voice before he even stops to think that Kogarasumaru very likely has had this same idea before.]

I have walked on stilts and platforms before with my children.

[He says it so very matter-of-factly. Like it's perfectly obvious.]

Why would you willingly do that? These things are terrible!

How? How could these things possibly be fun?

They make you quite tall. I suppose that is the main allure of them. I certainly enjoyed seeing what the swords taller than myself see.

Yeah, but they ruin your balance. The extra height isn't work it.

No. [He kicks his makeshift shoes off his feet. Not really wanting to be tiny and be schooled on his to wear heels.] It's pointless anyway. Doesn't this kind of stuff wear off eventually?

[He watches the sort of shoes go flying to the side.]

If it is one of the glitches then yes. Is that what happened to make you the size of a babe?

No. I am just always this small. [Although it may be hard to take his sarcasm seriously in that high squeaky voice.]

[He actually smiles at that.]

This one would know what your normal size is. However, I do find this size to be cute for you.

[Did he just say---!?] I AM NOT CUTE! [This is embarrassing.]

This father would have to disagree. You are quite cute as this size.

A killer can still be cute. Tools to kill can be so why not the hand that wields them?

I've never seen a cute tool that murders before! [He angrily snorts and doesn't even think about the fact that he's talking to what could arguably be called a rather cute sword right now.]

I haven't. But I don't care! If they kill then I highly doubt they're what could be called cute!

[He starts to stomp around a little bit. Having trouble keeping all his anger contained.]

The tantou are precious honestly. Though all my children are quite cute. So this father thinks you can be cute as well.

I am not cute! [Although the way his voice squeaks with how angry he currently is it's not helping. Just making him sound more doll like. Kogarasumaru should probably clearly recognize the way his hand starts to move towards his hip towards his sword. Only his sword isn't there because it's currently too big for him to use. He doesn't fully move to grab it, but he's clearly itching to do so.]

So stop saying that!

[Yep. He sure does see it. He wonders if perhaps there are doll sized swords around that Manji could borrow for a bit. Actually, that might look just as incredibly cute as well.]

Is it truly so offensive to be complimented so?

It is offensive because it is not a compliment!

I will make you a deal. The day you can defeat me in swordplay will be the day I call you anything you wish me to.

I just don't want you to call me cute! [He probably should add and words like it. There's such an easy loop hole there. Or course, Manji is also smart enough to understand that's not the point Kogarasumaru is trying to make. Manji knows he's not about to win in a duel against the living sword any time soon, but he's not about to admit to that out loud.

Instead he squares his shoulder and points dramatically at Kogarasumaru.] Fine! Once I have returned to my normal size I will come looking for you in your dojo and we'll have another round to settle this.

[And he will get his ass kicked again.]

[Somehow this just makes Manji that much cuter. That sheer determination to win. But Kogarasumaru likes that about him. He really does.]

It is a deal then. When you return to your normal size we will duel again. If you win then I will no longer call you cute.

[Manji scowls as he feels like Kogarasumaru is likely not taking him seriously.] Good! And don't you forget that.

[He's going to turn to leave unless Kogarasumaru feels like stopping him.] I'll see you then.

[He'll let him go this time. Really the man is so adorable. He knows he'll look forward to their fight.
